So this is a build I made a week ago and have been hesitant to post here because I know I'll catch some flak... And it's a little out of my normal micro coil element
But anyways;
Twisted 24g single wire dual coil, strictly for the clouds.
I am using sony 30 amps, only take a couple puffs then I put it away until I'm feelin frisky again a few days later.
Surprisingly flavor isn't bad, but doesn't compare to a set of micros.

Thanks for posting that. I've been kicking around the notion of getting an AIOS for a while but I've been lazily hoping to run across more build photos.

It's no fog machine, but good vapor and decent flavor. It's a very cool vape which is a turn off for some, but I'm one of those that enjoy it. Even if the atomizer is warm to the touch, it still vapes cool. Well suited to flavors you'd expect to be cool...fruity stuff mostly for me. Warm flavors such as tobacco I don't care for in it. I save those liquids for warmer atomizers.

It is also pleasantly quiet and smooth.

For $19 on FT for a clone, (if you already have a Chi You) it's hard to go wrong. I have one of each version, brass contact and silver contact. I'd recommend the brass contact version because the finish is nicer inside and out. Not that the silver version is bad, the brass is just better.

Yeah I've heard that it's a cooler vape. Big thanks for the info on the brass vs. silver contacts!

I just got my aios a couple of days ago
and I am getting some really good clouds out of it!
here is the way I built it (this is my first try and works really well)
vertical microcoil with 28 kanthal at .7 ohms and cotton (leaving a nice tail over and a small one just touching the well

I inserted just a bit of cotton trough the tank hole to get better contact and wicking (not a single dry hit yet)

I believe the cool vapor comes from the vapor running trough the space between the tank and the outer wall so the stainless steel is cooling it (this could probably be alleviated by getting the pmma frosted tank and outer wall, but if you dont like the plastic look you can just change the tank [just a theory])

Looks good to me man! I don't know when I'll get around to getting one, but I think I've decided to give it a place on my definite "get this eventually" list.

it is a really great atty!! I bought the chi you clone just to be able to use this one, I am (was) an exclusive dripper and this is my first tank and I'm loving it. but the jury is still out as I have a kayfun and an aqua en route to me. but for now the no leaking and no dripping is a really convenient improvement for on the go

I've been inspired. Going to try a microcoil with cotton build on one of my AIOS tanks tomorrow. I think that I'm going to keep the SS rope in it though and maybe wrap the rope with cotton. We'll see how that works.

I'll report tomorrow afternoon. ;)
