it's a micro, in that case should I trim the legs and move farther away from the airhole?

Here's a photo of my first genny build-
It's a 5/4 wrap using 29g. I don't have a multimeter so I don't know the exact ohms reading but it's performing quite well. I didn't torch it, just oxidized with the coils. It's performing better than the 4/3 coil that the guys at Vapor Craze built for me when I purchased the Noble 1 (the wick they put in was super short and I was getting dry hits).
I've worked with silica in dripping atomizers before but I was pretty apprehensive about my first genny build after checking out dozens of videos and reading even more posts on ECF. So many people seem to have issues. It's not as pretty as some of the photos I see on here but it wasn't that bad.
I'm super excited. I've fallen off the wagon for the last 5 or 6 months--partly because I was having problems with cartotanks/inconsistencies with cartomizers in general, and partly because I started a new job. In any case, the cancer sticks were starting to make me feel really ....ty so I picked up this Noble 1 as a incentive to get back into vaping. So happy!!!

I always though the Reo looks ok, I'd probably appreciate the looks more in person. But those oliveRs are just...... wow, stunning. They look hella comfy to hold too.

Christy All Mighty. So I got my super sexy copper Caravela clone today, and the only unused atty I had sittin' around was my Bliss clone.
I quickly remembered WHY I wasn't using it. I don't normally have that much trouble with gennies, but I can't get this thing set up to save my miserable life. 4/5 wrap of 28 gauge kanthal around a small-ish SS cable wick (fits loose in one of the wick holes) with my usualy ekowool sleeve on top.
Nothin' but hot spots. It's like the coil (even though it's about .7Ohm) just vaporizes ALL the juice instantly. Just POOF and the wick is dry. It quickly re-saturates but one press of the button and POOF all over again.
I'm givin' up for now. This thing needs something more attractive sitting on top of it anyway.....

Just now discovering how awesome dense vapor flavor is.
Yeah Rip Trippers kept saying flavor junky ...yadayada...trying to rub my nose in it...in one ear out the other.
I would sample a flavor now and then and it was ok at best.
Tonight I was playing w/ 100% PG seeing how big I could make the clouds. On my .5 ohm dual coil build I noticed the flavor of PG was bumped from nil to wow that's nice. I then dripped some watermelon peppermint and the flavor explosion was 10x anything I have experienced. It feels like someone is stuffing cotton candy in the mouth, like you can almost bite it.

Folks for the life of me I can't solve the kfl riddle for my wife.. mine works great .. hers is getting lots of burnt hits and taste.. The same coil I had on mine I used on hers .. Idk. Maybe it's her juice wicking too fast..

Gave the tiger coil a shot today

Wick may be too tight or too loose. 0.7 ohms is pretty hot. Higher resistance coils are easier on the juice, wick and builder.
Setting aside the KFL clones for a bit to get my ol' Bliss clone working with my new copper Caravela clone. After a LOT of befuddling hot spots and plain ol' derpy behavior, I've got it set up with ribbon kanthal and ss mesh+ekowool hat. About 1.1Ohm, which is higher than I like. But I'll settle for this for now. Too tired and frustrated to fight any more today.
Don't get me wrong, it vapes fine, I just like a little more heat.
And here it is on mah purty new Ehpro Caravela. MAN this thing is NICE. Button is magnificent. MUCH better than my Sigelei 8W in all aspects.
