CleVegas TN.
Instant heat up, and HUGE vapor production. Only downside is due to it being .5 ohms it can make the atty pretty hot after a small vape session even. This is a keeper for cloud chasing tho!

Both. Its 2 different strands. 1 into the coil with each ends on the juice deck with a J shape and another thin strand on top covering the coil and 1st strand tails essentially tucking it in. I find that not only do I get more significant flavor and vape production, it also Gunk's up a lot slower then the regular single stand wicks.

How do you guys get your coils looking so straight and purdy??? Mine always end up looking twisted and janky.

For the record my cloud isn't burnt or anything, I'm dripping Monkey .... from Pure Cloud Vapor. It's like a tropical banana flavor.

That coil doesn't look awful. It's all in the practice and repetition of building them.

Let me cheer your spirits with a coil I saw posted over at Calivapers. It's called the "Helen Keller" coil.

Thanks lol I almost ...... myself laughing. I know mine aren't BAD but I just can't seem to get a low resistance build where the coils seem like they are touching.

That and the legs of mine always seem to get twisted or bent in some way that makes the coil twist when I'm tightening down the screws and then it's impossible to straighten it back up without messing up the wrap on each end.

I'm not exactly shooting for super-sub-ohm but I enjoy a nice warm vape with a decent cloud. I did a half - assed single nano coil but I was dripping every three hits so it wasn't worth it for a long term setup, but I enjoyed the warmth and volume it produced at .4 ohms.

I'm using a trident clone RDA and a Maraxus clone Mech with Sony vtc4's for a reference of my setup.

What is that, like 8.5 ohms?

Those aren't so bad at all. I'm guessing if you leave the drill bit (or whatever) in the coils while attaching to the posts you'll have coils as straight as an arrow.

I actually never even though of that. I'll try it tomorrow since I finally found my itty-bitty drill bit on my garage floor under some stuff.

Here's my second shot at a clapton coil, went with a bigger ID this time, and also went full-length on the wrapping instead of leaving the legs bare like on my last one. Still 30g over 26g but this was .6 ohm. At that power level it's a bit slow to heat up, and vapor overall is still a bit cool compared to what I'm used to, but the vapor volume is still insane and flavor is possibly even better than twisted wire.

Anyone try 32g over 28g and have some results they could post up (pics?) I'm curious how easy it is to work with.
