Didn't take a pic, but I just did a rebuild on one of my sub tanks occ heads.......2 strand 32 gauge twisted, then wrapped in a parallel, 4 wraps, came in at 1 ohm. Best non sub ohm coil I've tried in the sub tank flavor wise, though I would like just a touch more warmth... Maybe I'll do it 3 wraps next time
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

Made a dual Clapton coil setup on my dark horse. The dual stovetop setup was the best vapor producing build.....but this is by far the best flavor I've gotten from this RDA....even with airflow wide open the flavor is great.
Inner wire is 24 gauge kanthal, outer wraps 28 gauge kanthal. Ohms at .3

Nice, but i got a couple questions.
how did you wick it? is there cotton down in the well too or did you just run cotton through the coil and around? has the lemo started to flood at all or any problems with the juice in the tank not feeding to cotton?

I have one strand through the coil and down in the well. Had a needle in the channel when doing this to make sure nothing got down in it. Then two small strands on each side.
It has not flooded, I have only tested this for 15 hours or so, but I've also ran through 15ml in those hours haha. So I'd say the feeding works.

Here's the posts that gave me the idea to try it. He accidentally screwed up the order of things though, so you gotta jump a little back and forth But this is the first post: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...945-lemo-rta-build-pics-165.html#post14946269

Yea, keep us informed on that. I am totally not seeing the need for so much wicking material there. Neither of mine have ever dry hit with less wicking material.

Well flooding it isn't likely as it has a vacum. Unless you put it horisontal for a longer period of time, with one of the holes exposed to air.
Let's move the wicking discussion over to the lemo thread i mentioned so this thread can consist of pretty pictures.

As long as he keeps a wet wick barrier at or below the intake he should not have flooding issues. The wet wick should provide just enough resistance to leave an air space.

ok so i attempted that center post build with my cats RDA. first i tried a 4strand twisted 32g nichrome80 sleeper build. that was a horrible experience.
so i took 1 strand of 24g kanthal, and 2 strands of 32g nichrome80 and twisted them up with drill. slapped that drill in reverse and rolled a fat clapton with .8/.1mm ribbon kanthal. .6ohms nice at 5-6v

A little high in ohms then i was shooting for of .4 but oh yeah crank up the vv and enjoy

Thanks I gave this wicking method a go in my Russian and its working better than anything else I've tried. It started trying to flood once but I caught it fast and cranked the watts and got the excess juice gone and have been running good again.
