yeah 4 strands inside, good idea. or slide a bunch of ribbon inside...

btw the last build i posted was 0.08ohms, she drinks the juice and drains the batteries even quicker hahahaa i think i might have to turn my back on her ^_^

Hey G nice build, good choice on atty mate, are you liking it? :)
I actually made a 32g N60 arched Clapton and slid 4x .5x.1mm kanthal ribbon through it haha. I had to wrap the coils with the ribbon stacked horizontally to go along with the arches. I haven't installed it yet on any decks, but I just picked up a Sapor because even though I'd rather an Aeolus or Vector, $29.99 at a B&M is pretty much the same as online pricing. I put in these:

I shorted out one lead so they're 5 wrap arched Claptons with a strand off 26g and a strand of 30g on each side of the 26. The wrap is also 30g. All N80. The ohms are safe to say in the .10-.08 range.

Looking very nice and tidy :)

i'm sure i'll try and find some time fingers crossed vsoon to do a new build or two winkywinky ....
Thank ya slip, if ya want some coils prebuilt let me know I got time & wire to do it for ya...super tidy build and the install was too easy in the Sapor.

Really diggin this atty...so cheap for a top airflow. I mean the next ones up are the vector and Aeolus and they're $60-70
Edit: here are the ribbon arched Claptons I was talking about..

I didn't bother to cut them, I just coiled them up from each end of the wire so if I want I can throw it as a sleeper between the post screws on a center post block atty like the mutation x v3 or v4 or I could cut them if I wanted to

Hey man how is that sapor? I'm really looking into it. Seems like a great deal. Only things I don't have in my arsenal are top airflow and two post design. I'm in between the Velocity clone and the Sapor. I'll probably get the Velocity clone first but I'm having trouble finding the good clone...

Get the Sapor. For $29.99 authentic it's worth it. Post holes are huge, and in the 24 hours I've had it, I've noticed that you can literally fill it up with juice to where the cotton is over soaked and it won't leak. I got it just to see how top airflow is and I love it. I may buy an Aeolus v2, Pugio by Hyon USA, or a Kennedy 24mm (second two are bottom airflow) once it comes out. I consider it a stopgap in between trying to decide what my next atty is gonna be.
I've owned a few cloned atty's in my day, some of the "entry level" atty's like the doge, mutations, Sapor, and I have a few high end atty's, my derringer, Petri and Hobo v3.1.

If you're going to get a 2 post design check out the STRO mini (NOT the mini v2)..it's $29.99 & has the same deck as the velocity minus the notch. If you're willing to spend more money I'd say get the Petri v1.5, I love my Petri (I have the original) and in the 1.5 they made structural changes to the deck and center pin that make it more sturdy. Also larger post holes and thumb screws on the posts. If Dotmod came out with a 24mm Petri tomorrow that spaced the posts a little wider and the post holes a little bigger, I'd buy it upon seeing it.

Decided to play with my Royal Hunter today. I'm a RTA guy, so dripper rarely gets use. Also kinda liking spaced coils lately.
3 strands 28g twisted. 8 wraps ohms out at .47ohms. Had a fun time fitting it in there, not the prettiest, and its really pushing the limit of my little 75 watt IPV D2, but it works around 70 watts. Too warm for my liking, but flavor is great, and the vapor production is good too.

What's different with the STRO mini 2? If I get two post I think I would like the velocity more because of its deep juice well and airflow control. I don't think I would like how big the airflow is on the STRO and how it's not adjustable.

Damn bro that coil above looks sick, I need to find the time to try and make something like that. I'd be excited to experiment with some builds like that.
Which one?

Big Shout out to a Guy called Nate from BuildMode on English Forum & Youtube for the Help.
And awesome work Slip, that's a nice vertebraid...4 or 5 loop? And it looks like you're using SS mesh on the inside..hmm what do u have going on in there?

Yep SS Mesh wrapped around 22g and 5 loop 32g over which gives 10 strands :)

I have to bring my Leica digital cam home for better details. Anyway, 28 gauge single zipper coil ohm'd out at 0.23 ohms, had to unwrap it to 5 to fit the way I wanted. So this technically isn't the finished build, just didn't want to take more pics. (Lazy)

I have a lot of zippered coil, going to try and fuse Clapton it.

5 loops are a pain in my fingers lol. But yeah each loop is doubled, I know how to braid....I don't do it too much because it shreds the skin off my fingers but my 38 & 40g should be here on weds so maybe I'll try out a 36g or 38g standing 4 loop...I hear it comes out like a square when you don't use anything to wrap around.
