What I did with my v3 was angle the coils so that they were parallel in line with 2 strips of the AFC holes and close off one set of 3 on each side. It was better than a straight build but still lacking in flavor
Remove 90% of that cotton and your flavor should improve by about 90%.

Is that a snowwolf wharf? I've had a swolf for few weeks now, got be honest I get fed up when the tc kicks in, heat up is slower, sometimes on the same coil it may start out tc then it's go's to power mode then back to tc, I suppose this happens as the wick is wet or dry?

Thanks CC, so are you doing the stitched build on swivels? And have you used both 2 or 3 core wires? I can't do too hot a build or a build with too many wires involved, I don't like the snowwolf getting to hot, don't want to break it yet, I did a 8x ribbon framed with 40g and it was taking to long to heat, it went into tc mode with all the wires being n80, and I can't get the mechs out for a few months as I've put the them in storage so I'm stuck to using the SWolf or 100w sigelei

Yea Slip. It's the SW75 Mini. So far so good for me. I have not experienced your issue. I like how compact the mod is. .1 builds do eat battery though.

Nice Wharf, im also enjoying! :) ....... the reason for my tc kicking in or not could be anything from bad connections on my phen-l's to the ss wire im using and everything in between i suppose...... as said im new to it so i'm sure we'll figure it out... just hope it aint broke...... that would really p me off.

N80 can be used regularly as Kanthal. I don't run N80 in TC. Or am I reading the post wrong???

I'm using the Sig 100 also.

Sorry G im not understanding myself now! hahha i took some headache tabs earlier and my heads spinning now.

Have a good Xmas everyone ;)

so are you doing the stitched build on swivels?
Yup. Love me some swivels. :D
And have you used both 2 or 3 core wires?
I've done 'em both ways. The thing with a stitched alien is that it 's no different from a regular alien, except you run the the stitching wire through the decored Clapton before you stretch it out.
So for Christmas, I'm getting you a $1,000 Gift Certificate to the Twisted Messes website
    You're the best! Thanks!

Besides, I needed something that doesn't take high wattage or amperage for a change, and that has a quick ramp up time.
Screw that. It singed way too easily. Made a couple of 6x0.5K/34N staple coils. Came in at 0.23Ω. Much better. I'll take a bit slower ramp up for 500% better flavor. I'm actually diggin' the flavor of a staple over a fused Clapton.

You guys couldn't do that loop method for the spaced claptons?

personally i'm trying to save on wire, i'm from that country where they charge to much for it ;)

Yet another mediocre attempt at a staggered. So I figured I would space it a bit and put a vertical in the Velocity. Besides, I needed something that doesn't take high wattage or amperage for a change, and that has a quick ramp up time.
