You pro'ly know this XObox, so I'm not talking to you :p

Anyway, the Mundy's is like lead if you give it a very light torching. I usually wrap it on a jig, then pinch the legs with my fingers, slide it off and give it a visit at the torch office. (so, light, in fact, that I just hold the legs with my fingers, about 3/8" from the coil). After that, it's easy to shape and stays exactly where you put it. . . . ..

Well, haven't gotten around to a straight cotton build for any of my genesis attys, but I did use cotton as a hat on my Prometheus clone rebuild.

Ugly as sin, since the cotton got all bunched up when I did the kanthal wrap, but it works really really well!

Used one of those little rubber plugs that come with the RSST to make refilling easier.

Origen Dripper. Dual Coil 24g. By far the thickest most flavorful vape I have.

Single coil 24g (micro .55 ID 10/11 wrap) meters at about .35-.4Ω Dual 24g sounds extremely dangerous.

Not trying to play mother goose, but what did you meter that build at? What batteries are you using? Do you want to blow yourself up? Will you leave your mods to me in your will?

Why yes I did Mother Goose. My first build was a dual coil 10 wrap 24g and it metered out to .5 on my Fluke 88 multimeter and ohm meter. I rebuilt it since it too way too long to warm up. As for batteries? All I run are these things. I have migrant workers making these in my garage.

Let me guess, you are in the "sub ohm is too dangerous" crowd?

Not in the least. I typically run in the .4-.6 range.

Looking at the pics you posted, the number of turns, and not knowing/guessing the ID of your coils there, and being quite familiar with the wire... I would have estimated that build in the .15-.2ohm range.

Lastly, where can I find migrant battery makers that are trustworthy? The last ones I had drank all my beer and refused to shower.

-Mother Goose

I really can't help but think, "WHY" would someone need to vape something @58.8w????????????? I can't even imagine vaping @ 20w... I understand that battery makers are catching on to the growing trend today, but 58.8w!!! You have to have a massively huge nicotine buzz going on after that... I still think anything under .5Ω is pushing the envelope, and god willing nothing happens to anyone while going lower. I just feel our next tragedy in vaping is going to come in the near future and am bracing for it.... Fingers crossed nothing happens!!!
