This is my favorite build. 26g 7/8 wraps. It doesn't affect my flavor, but would there be a reason one coil is gunky and thick with junk and the other is rockin clean? This build has been heavily vaped for about 12 hours.

I'm guessing it's cause the side with only 7 wraps gets a lot hotter than the side with 8 wraps.

Sweet, I got a good deal on a brass nemi, I think it's ugly as hell do in going to Chem dip it and try to get some cool color patina going, I hope it looks close to as good as yours.

Cool man. This was a brushed stainless that I torched. There is a facebook group called Patina Mods that has some cool pics and a files section that has a few good tutorials on how to do the patina process. Best of luck...

I've been really happy with my rdas and cottonballs for the last 6 months but today I got the itch to try some cotton yarn, what do you guys think of it? not good, ok, or don't bother?

Used it for months rebuilding Vivi Novas and it would great. Tried it on an RDA a couple months ago and it just didn't wick fast enough to keep up with my microcoils (1.0 - 1.3 ohm range).

I have a couple different sized screwdrivers that were included with attys, and I use one of them to wrap on any coil will work I'm sure, I use a piece of wire to fish the yarn thru the coil and leave an extra inch in the tank so I could pull it up and snip off every so often.

I like that wick with duals works pretty good I'll post more pics in a few.

Looks like a pretty straightforward u-wick setup. I did a similar build months ago (single coil) and the yarn wouldn't wick vertically for anything. Maybe it's due to the heavy VG juice I vape.

Thanks for the pics, maybe I'll try again this weekend and thin down some juice to see if that works. To be fair, I can't get cotton balls to wick vertically either, and have been using SS rope for over a year in gennies.

Just built this a few minutes ago. Dual 26g 7 wrap coils that came out at around .6 ohms each (using my mvp as a ohm meter so its not to exact on the ohms) so around .3 ohms. Hits real good and produces good vape. This is one of the lowest I've built so far she the heat isn't too bad.
