Thanks brother, much appreciated! I have tried everything on the planet except for bottom feeders, at that time, and so I wanted to give one a shot, I wasn't happy with the lack of ability to run low ohm builds on any available so I built this one myself, it has the lowest v drop of just about any mod, @ 0.3 ohm even .. And it runs that low or lower all day every day with no problems.
I have been using it exclusively, well pretty much, for months now and I can not be happier. I was going to make a batch of them but they take a ton of work so I would have to charge a lot, and with the summer coming I'd rather be out enjoying the sunshine than being cooped up in the shop. If I get enough people who want then I may consider making a batch, they would be a bit prettier, this was just the prototype so I didn't worry about aesthetics too much. If I did make a batch they would all be custom pieces.
I have come to the conclusion that THE RIGHT bottom feeder is the Mack Daddy of the vape world. Thanks again for the kind words bud. I have a thread search bottom feeder beast, there's a few more pics of the process.

That is a beast of a mod tbev. About what would you charge for em if you did make a batch? Rough guesstimate.

I decided I wanted to try a 28/30g twisted. It's a 6 wrap .6ohm.

I tried a .3ohm but I really like the .6ohm . It has to warm up a little (1 or 2 puffs) but once it does it hits wonderful.

Finally pulled it off - Maybe not with 30G wire, but behold my new favorite - 32G Kanthal A1 'Double Barrel' / Cotton Build @ 1.03 Ohms:

I'm driving that baby at 15W and the vapor and throat hit is INSANE. Flavor - meh... then again, I'm too afraid to take a direct lung hit on it. LOL.

Nevermind that, took a lung hit, burns like hell itself. The TH almost dropped me. Which makes me wonder, do I need to drop my nic level? I'm at 24 now.

You may. I vape 12mg all day, but on my dripper I vape 3. 6mg kills me. I am usually around .2 ohms, though.

I loved the stove top that I decided to try it with 22 gauge. this hits like a beat with 22 gauge. If I remember it came out to around .25 ohms

Have you tried tilting it back at top? I did a pancake with MM about 6 months ago and it seemed to work better canted.

what vdrops are you getting at dif ohms.. I don't go as low as 0.3Ω.. what do you get at 1 & say 0.5?

I'm running this dual dial 28ga setup, it's the first setup I've built in this Helio and it's nice to drip in the center and get all the coils. Ohms out @ 1 ohm, nothing special but I do like it... For a dripper.... Lots of wick, holds lots of juice.

its close! just a shame the braided wire coil doesn't work the same as a touching single wire coil, if it did it would win hands down, the dual you have looks tame and the other a bit more vicious but im biased

I might try a dual coil braided on the cyclone, the reo needs a bath anyway
