ID 2mm, wicked with japanese cotton pads, it's just kind of dry there. It doesn't seem that low to me? I checked it with the bottom half of the cap on and the coils are 1-2mm above where the air slots are. Yeah it's too close to the positive block because I bent it in trying to center it. Probably going to redo it today and put the positive leads on opposite sides and make the negative longer, maybe use nichrome 80 instead of kanthal for more surface area.
Yep, I go slightly above the oval slots and use all the air holes possible. And yes tight to the positive will increase heat some.

Also, if you are using the negative post airholes, make sure they are not blocked by wick. You'll see it start to discolor there first as an indicator.

Old style kanger dual coil for use in my aerotank mega. Rebuilt with 28 gauge kanthal. Dual coil, 7 wraps at .4 ohms, using the pin from new style heads for better air flow. Makes that mega come alive!

froth i dunno how big they zenith slots are but these mephisto's i have are 3mm post holes, theys massive, its also good for singles :D
They're 3mm WIDE, but only ~1mm tall, they work really good for parallel builds or quads but the shorter height of the slot makes it a tight fit for thick twisted wire, especially parallel. I had to mush the first inch of the leads down with pliers and tug them through the posts.

Hey there folks, I haven't been posting my builds lately but I thought I'd share my Plume Veil clone build I did last night...

Started off trying to do RipTrippers quad parallel coil in 28ga but realised it wouldn't fit in the post holes after some struggling and ruining the coil I'd made. So I drilled out the post holes to accommodate larger wire and decided stuff it, let's go super sub ohm rather than trying the quad parallel again. Hoping for a faster heat up time than my usual coils with 9-10 wraps, I decided upon 5 wraps of 26ga NiChrome in a dual coil setup, nothing fancy, just a centered build but boy does it heat up fast and produce some serious plumes of vapor

So much so that I had to make a video

Enjoy

Smaller chamber volume = better flavor

Every time.....

What I've noticed is in my experience, It is the RATIO between your Coil/Wick size and the size of your chamber:

Smaller Coils/Wicks - Better flavor in Smaller Atomizers.
Larger Coil/Wicks - Better flavor in Larger Atomizers.

IMHO

My 26650 VERITAS Clone is going to arrive soon. I will compare the two and report back to you.

Here ya go boss. This the Chuff one though. Not the FT one. It has the o-ring on. I might be compressing it a little bit on the caliper. It fits snugged on TOBH and PlumeVeil, little loose on Stillare.

Its in mm. But that drip tip OMG!!!!

Where can I get one?

i cant remember where g-weezy got his but you can also get em at FT in the Black or SS & in singles or 5pack, just click on the Model next to the BUY tab>>https://www.fasttech.com/products/1834101

EDIT: Just read g-weezy's post, he said its a chuff one.

Also i just noticed that FT have some without the fin's, though to me the fin's add extra depth to the atty i suppose.

That's awsome g-weezy, thank's for that, 4.6mm bigger id than a cloudchaser WoW! that's some piece of kit there! i can't wait to get mine, we's gonna make some rainclouds :D

Your Stingray look's Sexy as Hell!!! did your locking ring come white as standard?
I got my 18650 copper version of the Stingray yesterday, the fire button is Super sensitive, when i took it out of the box it looked to short to accomadate a 18650, i thought i was missing a tube :D ... It's about 10-20mm shorter than the Vanilla & i thought that thing was short.

Reminds me of my much beloved stingray, in need of repair after an autofire incident. Nearly left it in my sisters coffin at her unexpected funeral... never got to tell her I quit. Autofire was that same night.

Melted Delrin insulator and wiped out battery only...

Where can I get one?

I got it at Coval Vapes. Also with a nice bottle of 100VG PBB juice. Would put a link up but got blocked @ work :(

Yes it does fit the PlumeVeil.

It's a silver locking ring. Just the lighting made it look white. Yea that top cap wide and all the air ways opened, chucks. Doesn't feel lke a lot of vape on the inhale but exhale is just massive.

I figured that out when I got a Pulse genny which has a reducer in the chamber, it's a night night day difference with and without it and the gigabit from that genny is better than any kraken, steam turbine, any aga, or any other genny.
Then I built my bottom feeder using an igo I. The igo-l deck also fits a Nimbus cap which is over twice as tall and the flavor sucks with the taller Nimbus cap.
Then I started making my own caps for the bottom feeder and the smaller I made the internal chamber volume, the better the flavor, the best cap I have made to date is on a 19mm igo deck, the Od is 22mm, for looks, but the chamber is super duper small, reduced about as much as possible, and the flavor is really untouchable.
