Do it giraffe! It's the only dna or vv mod I have besides provari back n the day and in really didn't think it would hang with my mech fancy but I love the dna40 very glad I've got it.
Here's my feeder with dna40 inside.

It hasnt completely replaced my mech as i still like the form factor and power i get with low ohm builds 0.15-0.25ohm range on something simple. But for my tanks and when i just want a relaxing vape , its perfect. The temp control with nickel is growing on me, i thought it was a bit cool on my first builds but the clapton build above is closer to my mech builds for denser warmer vapor, so i think with some more practice with the nickel i will be able to replicate my mech even with only 40w.
Even if the nickel is not for you then its a rock solid 40w vw with amazing battery life.

It is SATURDAY!!
That means I spent the better part of the morning at my workbench wrapping coils!

All coils are wrapped with 29 gauge twisted wire.

My A7 RDA @ .6ohms. This is my taste tester, with center air flow. I finally got the build to sit right over the airflow!
Sorry camera would not focus on it, but as you can see it focused on my felt work station.

My REO RM2 @.6ohms

The Vulcan @.5ohms (dual coiled)

The Dark Horse @.5ohms (dual coiled)

And the coil jig that makes these awesome wraps possible.
I made it out of dowel Rod, and drilled holes in both ends and use different sized finishing nails depending on coil size I want.
Then I stuff wire in to the hole, and push the finishing nail in and twist naturally tight coils. (or at least the best coils I have made).

you sure thats 0.3ohm, 22g quads at what looks about 2mm id come out below 0.1ohm on my calcs. Just thought i would mention it incase you have a dodgy ohm reader.
Good looking out my friend. It's a 28.5mm tobh. It just looks really good on this 26650 feeder.

The coils are a little shy of 3mm the actual reading is 0.278ish ohm.
