Ooooh. I'm really liking this build. This is my lowest resistance coil yet, at ~0.2 ohms. 28 gauge twisted, 4 wraps on a Magneto mech mod and a fresh 4.2V battery. Hit's like a train, and I love the instant ramp up. Excellence vapor production, and for only having 4 wraps I'm amazed at the flavor produced.

I think I am, the builds i see on instagram, the ones that are pretty much "Novelty" builds are crazy outrageous, But i need functional...cloud producing...flavortastic builds and it all seems rather simple now but I do remember when i was start to get into rebuilding and the builds im doing now were outrageous and i wondered why someone would put so much time and work into it but i get it now, lol

and the two pictures at the bottom of the post that attached separately were my first parallel builds i ever did, the twisted parallel was a test build just to try it and it worked out nice but that's where the building started going from single strand or twisted wire in a 4-6 wrap spaced dual coil setup around .5-.8ohms to experimenting more and once i passed that threshold of .4-.3ohms i never went back, until i got the lemo anyway

It's left over wire from the zipper build I did in the freakshow, 26g 3 strand twisted and flattened

I rewrapped my lemos yesterday to get them to 1.1ohms each so they would fire nicely on my MVP 20wS. It was tricky but it worked. I found I had to do final adjustments on ohms by moving the wire in and out of where I tightened it down at.

It takes some practice and frustration to be able to figure out what it takes to get your ohms to go up and down by making the littlest adjustments, but once you get it you can build to whatever ohm you want

Made up this fused clapton wire lil while back, parallel 24g wrapped in 34g.......3 strand 26g twisted and flattened, this this build ROCKS, the ohm reader is off by atleast .07 cause it would fire on my sigelie PSO 100w box that can't fire below .15ohms, but this build is fantastic

and with the left over 26g i had twisted up i made this one for ....s and giggles and its actually pretty good, just over .3ohms, will prolly work better in the Mut X V2 with air flow over the coils and up instead of flowing from the outer edge and up at an angle on the freakshow

This is the new Samurai clone that I am currently vaping. Its a cloud chasing atty with airflow under the coils in addition to the cyclops in the AFC ring. This is massively flavorful while still making great clouds. This build is using 24g kanthal, 4 wraps per coil.

That's an extremely nice looking build. Is that a quad build? What's the resistance?

Yes, its quad coil. It was easy to do on that RDA. I specifically built it with a goal of something just below .1 ohm, since the point was to use it safely on a dual parallel mech box with 2 vtc5 batteries. It measures out to .09 ohm, and all four of those coils light up instantly. This RDA has enough airflow to run that without being unconfortable. Its got great flavor too.

This is what the deck of that Samurai looks like without the coils and wick there:

Got a Vulcan RDA in the other day and finally got some time to build it up :)

24G Dual coils, 6 wraps each over 3mm pin came out to .3 ohms.

Overall a nice deck to build on, gonna use this as my cloud setup for a bit ;)

nice wick :) ive always liked the way that atty looks but never picked one up as i dont like the standard aiflow on the sleeve, what atty is the other one off?

do the finger screws keep the wire in place good enough? i see you have already formed your coils so you would probably not need to alter them once they are installed, a lot of screw's in atty's loosen up a little once you start moving coils about

The other sleeve is from The Drippers by Scottua ;)

Personally I don't like the supplied knurled brass screw set that came with it. Those feel loose in the holes and it seems only a few threads are grabbing. It's holding for now but I will probably replace them with some SS screws. Brass screws are too soft to hold the wires properly IMHO.

It looks like a nice build. Are you sure that that cloud sleeve barrel isn't upside down?

LOL, your right, its upside down in those pictures ;) Good eye mate :D

It actually fits both ways but the chuff top is too loose when the sleeve is placed upside down from what's pictured. I was too lazy to change out o-rings to get it to fit correctly the other way.

I like the airflow more from the bottom too , here is a shot of the coil placement within the airhole pattern when placed correctly :)

With it the other way originally pictured (upsidedown) the bottom row is just barely below the coils. More air on top of the coils seems to swirl and cool the vape some for me but sacrifices cloud density. I do get denser clouds with it properly placed in the middle.
