That box looks similar to a dimitri.

I also have a cherry bomber which although heavy to some is a real nice mech that heats hard, there is a big dif in performance between it and the alu dimitri.
Another one i'd recommend is the vertex but its a trip parallel and hits as hard as the copper cherry bomber.

Okay i took out that Ti build and replaced it with this framed stapled.

6x ribbon
Yeah the Nikita is very similar to the Dimitri...made by the same company. It's a nice box albeit expensive. I think it runs like $229 for an authentic but it could be more. I need my wire shipment to get here already :/ got N80 ribbons coming, should be fun

Bugger that Tom, you can get a vertex for 20 odd dollars and like i said it has very little voltage drop and compared to the dimitri's is better on vd :)

Hey you guys that go on instagram have any of you evr seen ribbon wrapped like this below?..

found this on Ft Tom, i havent looked at it just got the link for you as its cheap lol https://www.fasttech.com/products/1/10017158/3493200-nikita-styled-18650-mechanical-box-mod
I may have to get that, everything is right on it except for the lack of silver plating on the copper contacts. Voltage drop on it is pretty minimal.
And Retro - I'm gonna get a stainless limitless sleeve and stencil/spray paint the Jets logo on myself. Either that or try to patina a copper one...that may be hard though...the Munequita is going for $199 at Socialite in Freehold NJ...if you want I could probably get it set aside and possibly discounted
Edit: With all the talk of Dos Equis/ Castigator/ Munequita box mods I'd like to bring this up.... http://www.ecig.com/vaporijoye-snowman-mod-1759.html

The Munequita is amazing Tom, I might need to take you up on that.I was looking at the snowman which I think looks really awesome. I just can't get past how inexpensive it is. Questioning the engineering and build quality.
I've had the snowman for 3 weeks now, the only con I can find is that the door is kind of janky, you have to push the springs out of the way in order to take the batteries out. Aside from that though, the switch feels good, it's good in the hand and hits like a beast on steroids.

Btw I have a con with the Velocity finally. After two months of ownership the side screws are starting to annoy me with how they twist flat wire builds horizontal to vertical.

There is an upside to this! atleast your screws or grubs arent pushing the wire into the cavity of a post as you get with most other atty's and which can damage your wire or even cut it ;)

Here are some 44g fused claptons para to 26n80. Once you find the right angle, pretty easy to fuse honestly. Takes a long time to fuse enough wire for dual coils lol.

This is the reason I don't go above 40g for customers lol. It takes too long. Anything past it is just too thin, and my drill is the same as m.terk's automatic spinning drill for long lengths of wire, so I make like 4 foot segments of fused Claptons at a time. Would never do that with 44g lol. You should take the 50g or 55g challenge. If you get frustrated and can't finish it off, I'll take the wire off your hands :D
Retro let me know if you want the Munequita, I'm going there maybe today to pick up my diamondback sleeve.
Slip I don't trust cherry bombers...my buddy had one blow up on him and I've seen multiple cherry bombers turned box bomb online

Not good to hear about your mates mod, you do need to be half careful as with all mechs and the cherry bomber is one of those that has a slight learning curve, the only advice i can give everyone that has one is to un-install the batteries and hold the fire button in whilst twisting on or off your atty orelse if you dont then the thing can twist the firing mechanism to fire constantly untill you finally undo the batteries, happened to me once and no matter how prepared you think you are for a situation like this i had a right old panic on! seconds felt like minutes :)

So I've had my Aeolus v2 a few days now, and the only thing I can say is I wish I bought it sooner. Didn't see much online about the v2 before I got it so naturally I had a lot of questions. The flavor really wasn't overexaggerated by owners, it's that good. As much as I love the Derringer, the Aeolus produces the same if not better flavor even using the same micro coils, which blew me away. The vapor production is nothing to shake a stick at either. No to mention the post holes are extremely large (~2.5mm plus their wider than they are tall, and it almost perfectly holds 3 core aliens and framed Clapton's) on the Aeolus so you can fit 34/26 or 36/26 Aliens single or dual with ease. I have tried many other claptons bigger than framed 26/36/.5 or aliens 34/26, but I'm loving the .... out of it right now. Only complaints are the O rings in the removable AFC and the top cap fit too snug, and can be a pain to take off. The only other complaint I have is I didn't own one sooner.

I'll get some dual coil shots soon, I just really prefer it running a single alien.

Side note I'm interested in trying a quad coil to center post build from those ground screws, but I think that'd defeat the beauty of the flavor this can make.

Also where can you even find 55g?

This gave me false hope that they had one in stock!!
Oh well, I'm going to take my time and do some research before I pull any triggers. Don't have a problem spending a couple hundred bucks for a nice box, just want to make sure I get what I pay for.

Here's what I've been up to today. Maybe this one is actually a "suchered staple" It's 8x .5 KA1 1x26n80 staggered w/ 36n80, fused up with 38n80 I'm scared to try and coil it. It's really tight, I just have a feeling it's going to be a pain.

It came out very pretty. :thumb:

Wasn't as bad as I thought. I don't have time to fire it and pinch / clean it up. I will be able to make it look a lot better with tweaking but, here you go. 5 wraps 3mm .08Ω

Different looking, tomorrow I'll try for some colors and get em cleaned up more.:)
