nah Tom :D i'm starting to get to bleeding lazy, are you gonna do one?
I'm way too lazy to drive to a store and get a kumihimo loom and then to actually do the braid lol.
It's not that it's bad, but it's a 1.5 with a different cap is all. They even state on the site "this is not a petri v2". I would hold off and see what people are saying about it. One plus is the purple cap will go with your newest mech.
This is truth. I'll just get the cap instead maybe, but the extra deck is really what I want. So if dotmod would offer a Petri v1.5 that comes with a cloud cap stock that'd be best case scenario. If not I'll probably just get the cap and wait for a v2.

Slippy, on your braided coil, just braid the wires then wrap? Looks simple enough and prolly holds alot of joose.

How's it vape? Any popping? I assume a quick ramp...

I wanted to get one of these. They're great phone camera clips. I opted for the $3.46 generic China clip instead because I'm cheap AF, and I could buy two of them, one for the front camera and one for the back camera on my iPhone. Should be upgrading my phone from a 5s to the 6s soon, so I'm banking on the better camera quality for my build pics, as I'm just way too lazy to use my DSLR & upload them to my computer & then get them onto my iPhone.
The one thing I am getting that will help my photography is a Rib Cage for my GoPro Hero + with a C-mount macro lens. The kit costs $149 for the GoPro & the lens they sell is like $450. Since it's manual zoom I think I can avoid spending the $450 on the lens, and use my Nikon F2 macro lens'

Yes mate just a simple braid, start with the three lengths held one end or give it a little twist to join them and go left over middle then right over middle and continue.. when i get to the end i twist the end to stop em opening back up then i grab two sets of pliers and give the ends a little tug to even out the braid along its length, i dont over do the tug part as it will make the braid very tight, the idea is to spread the wire out for wick coverage then just wrap it into a coil.
i wrapped the braided coils then added the 24g as per video-->

i added the 24g to get the ohms low but its a little to hot for me as this coil does spit and pop anyway but at lower wattage these coils are pretty good on flavour and clouds, what i had to do was prefire it to empty the coil of some juice before vaping to stop the spitting from scorching my lips :D

Even three x32g braided is a good vape, maybe i should have done the 24g with 32 braid or just left the 24g out of the 28g braid, even the thickness of the wick can make a dif on wether she spits a little or a lot

Sup coilheads. Ever ssince I saw the fabled "Stapled Staggerton" on IG I've been wanting to make one. Problem is, it isn't easy.
Every now and then when I have spare time and motivation I've been struggling with just the first step which is to stagger clapton 6x .5r. with 36n80
Not easy folks. Well, today I got it. This is just the first step... I may Have enough for duals... it's gunna be close. The next step is to frame the ribbon with 2x naked 26g and fuse between the gaps on the ribbon.
Kind of a backwards inside out framed staple. Anyways.. progress pic.

I have a GoPro hero+ and found and adapter that will make it so it will fit just about any lens. I should break out my GoPro and do some videos. My wife's going to kill me.

This one will go to the graveyard due to the missed wrap on the upper left of the photo. But, not too bad for a first attempt. I'll have a set of these picture perfect in a couple days I'd guess. :rickroll:

That's silly to graveyard that coil. So what if it missed a spot, that's a sick coil. I'll send you my address, your new graveyard. Haha

You should see my graveyard, I'll post a pic sometime. I just have a problem with the missed wrap. It bugs me! Worse then juice on my mod..
Anyhow...Nailed it the second time... Two beauties..went pretty smooth... the secret to the fusing is to go really fast. Find the right angle, pull the trigger and pray haha.

Now to mount 'em up and fire 'em. Should be .08Ω Specs are 6x.5KA1 2x26n80 36g stagger 38g fuse.
Feels good man. Love getting a new build down. Vape on people!

Which adapter do you have & what kind of lenses does it take? The standard fish eye lens gets old after about 10 minutes. I have the hero 3+ black, I would have gotten a hero 4 black if it had an adjustable lens. The reason I like the rib cage is because you can take out the IR cut filter inside the stock lens, which helps in low lighting situations. And it's basically a different camera when you put the new faceplate on

Looking good Fecta, i suppose its a good job i dont go on IG orelse i'd be busy trying to make everything to :D not that i have any spare time atm anyway ....
Yeah, I look at builds on IG for ideas, I don't wanna straight rip off something somebody else built. I like to find something and make a way to make it mine, by changing some aspect of a build.
