I don't know what this is. I was messing around with 26 twisting by hand and 24 on a kuro coiler. 12 wraps 24 awg. Twisted 26 (made via two pairs of pliers, can post pics of method if wanted..) was wrapped by sight and feel but glows even. Cannot replicate. If it vapes I'm never destroying this! Gonna cotton it now.

Nope, no thankyou, i appreciate a lot of people are gonna be all over it and enjoy what it has to offer but it's no good for me for a number of reason's, i'm only on the look out for rda's that can accommodate Fat single coil's where the coil can be placed center of the rda, i havent looked to much into wether it can fit them but even then the wicking is gonna be an issue and thirdly im not to keen on bf airflow, ive used em and have some but meh.. not for me :)
Vapin Heathen just dropped a review of the Tsunami 24 where he shows a huge single coil down the center of his regular Tsunami. Slippy, I actually think this rda would be better for single center coils than others that I've seen people build on because of the airflow placement. People love building center single coils in the Petri and Hobo V3 but the airflow goes straight to the cotton. Makes no sense to me. In the Tsunami the air pipes will sit right under your single center coil! And as far as wicking you'd just drape the cotton over the pipes if your coil is long enough and if it isn't just split each wick end so you have four ends.

I am Secret Squirrel ;)
Well then maybe you can answer a question that's been haunting me since I made my pre-order: will it screw down flush on my iStick TC100W?

I hope you have one to test but if you don't can you just describe the 510 length compared to some other popular attys?

that would be correct.....It is Titanium, a 32/24 claptoned Ti...pulsing not recommended :p

(Sorry for the double posts I haven't figured out how to multi-quote on the tapatalk app yet)

My go to build nowadays is a Ti/Ka fused clapton or SS/Ka fused clapton and I don't pulse either, just take a really long time to wipe down the wires with alcohol pre-drill.

Anyway where don't you find that having Ti in that small of a gauge is risky and problematic because of its fragility and extremely fast ramp up at that size?

I've been rocking this build on my velocity for some time, and it's a pain to put together (for a single wire build) but I love the flavor and vapor I get from it. I don't know if anyone has done this before, but the idea came to me independently. So here's what it looks like before wicking.

Then, to wick, I wick down through each pair, then mat a strip of cotton in a u shape through the middle, create a thread by rolling cotton tight, and position that between the matted cotton, and the velocity post. Without the center cotton, it's super airy and cool, even with tight airflow.
And finally, wicked and juiced.

The build as it is, comes out at 0.82. The first time I ran a similar build it was with 26ga and fewer wraps, so it was much lower. My reuleaux can only go up to 97.6 watts with this build.

Exactly. And let me know how it works out for you. Just know the build does take a lot of patience and fiddling.:toast:

Don't worry, i have a little bit of experience :D

Yep i will let you know and post a pic later after dinner i have to make a couple of coils for a family member to fit the velocity so once ive done that i will do the build ;)

cheers:toast:
