Fairly simple build on one of my new Petri v2s:

Gotta getta cloud cap to appreciate this one though... I am really debating whether to make my own "cloud cap" by modifying that 1 hole someway.
Wait, are you saying you need to purchase a second cap for enough airflow? On a deck that has two giant holes and top screws?

right! Pretty sure they knew what they were doing.
I wasn't really thinking when I put the build together. Realized on the initial top cap fitting. For some reason I thought the v2s had 2 air holes on either side.

That's messed up. Even cheap attys give you some options in this regard.
I'm starting to like clones more and more.
Btw, my petri clone is useless for the most part. The posts touch and the insulator cracked. I wish I had waited for the tobeco or one of the many other options that are out now.

That sucks man. was it the 24 or 22 mm version? I've got that 24mm version that needs the positive terminal replacement. Haven't tried tapping the posi pin just yet. Yours if you think you can make it work.

Triple twisted kanthal 28awg. 3.5mm'ish diameter, ~1.3Ohm. Got to run it in unregulated serial mode on my Noisy Cricket II to get a satisfactory vape without gurgling. Wick is the Fiber Freaks D1. Didn't know a 1.3Ohm coil could toss out so much vape. :) Too much for 12 mg nic juice I am afraid.

Doesn't look very nice, but it works great! 28awg SS316 tripple twisted. More springy. Fiber Freaks Cotton Blend D1 for easier wicking.

Twisted triple clapton 0.2mm on 0.2mm(32awg on 32awg) SS304, diameter about 2.5mm(0.094"), quite springy, so made only 5 turns, 0.45Ohm.

Once i figure out how to get rid of the springy character of such coils, there will be more of them and more complicated. Tried jet lighter to release the tension, but it almost didn´t help :(
