I am bored at home and my 3 year old and I are sick. Just a cold or something and feeling blah... I will likely live. :)

In any case, I was going thru my juice flavourings between watching gripping episodes of Super Wings and Doc McStuffins on Disney Jr. and realized I have a full 30ml bottle of Green Tea flavour. So I decided that I am going to make a batch of green tea ice cream as soon as my wife gets home from the pharmacy with our meds.

Anyone have any experience with tea eJuices? I personally have never even tried one.

I am thinking about a recipe along these lines....

- Green Tea - 3%
- Cotton Candy - 2%
- Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 3%
- Vanilla Custard - 4%

Green Tea is apparently very strong, so anything over 3-4% tea will likely be too much and having more than 75% of the flavours being non-tea would likely wash out the tea. most of my DIY is 20% flavour, but I think 12% will be about right for this recipe.

Lemme know your thoughts/comments/ideas....

Thx!

That sounds really interesting. The only experience I've had with any kind of tea was Gremlin's Breakfast Blend (OK) and some other tea/tobacco concoction from a vendor I can't remember that was horrible. It has remained a flavor that floats on my horizon though, so I want to hear how it turns out.

That might be a bit much on Vanilla though, I know VBIC is strong as are some custards. I might drop 1% on each to start unless you're looking for a predominantly vanilla custard type vape. Keep in mind that custards can require a bit of steeping time to get developed so be prepared for the flavor to change a bit over a few weeks. Keep us posted on your progress.

I think you are right, but I am going to stick to the original plan but throttle back the vanilla bean IC to 2% from 3%. I can always add more....

I have vanilla-phobia.
My favorite juice is strawberry with vanilla custard and a bit of cotton candy. I make it in 100ml batches and it is great. It is my go to juice.

Of course if one dislikes strawberry or vanilla, it wouldn't be good. ;)

I meant because I didn't know how strong vanilla is. When I first started vaping I used ECBlend's create a flavor and set the percentage of vanilla far too high (!!!) I was making a vanilla/cream/cinnamon and for some reason thought the cinnamon would be the strongest flavor by far. It wasn't. I couldn't handle the smell of vanilla vapes for months.

I also have peanut butter paranoia. It was a premixed juice, but oh god. I love to eat peanut butter, but the juice was so intense that I still can't open the drawer I kept the bottle in to steep. Three years later the drawer still reeks.

Yeah. Too much peanut butter or any nut flavour is really gross IME. Same with cinnamon and banana.

I use Capella Vanilla Custard generally at 5-6% and it hasn't been too much in any of the juices I have made.

I made my green tea concoction but put it in a tank that just had Strawberry MYLK in it previously. Pretty strong stuff, but didn't want to throw out a new coil. Hopefully the strawberry will blow off soon and I will be able to tell if my green tea ice cream juice is good or not so good. :)

I vape a Caramel Pear Black Tea juice made by Ahlusion and it is heavenly. I have not tried a Green Tea, but the black tea can be overpowering. When I tried to make it DIY, I found just using the named flavors fell a little flat. Your thought on adding something sweet and some custard type flavor for body sounds like a good idea. Please post on your success with this.

It's actually pretty damned good.

It definately needs some time, but at 12% total flavour it's almost too light initially and the tea isn't very pronounced. I am going to make another small batch at 15% and bump the green tea up by 2% and see which version is better after a bit of a rest.

I think the vanilla custard component will make for a green tea juice that is vapeable more regularly than something like peach or raspberry, which I find tends to be cloying and I get sick of it as an ADV.

We shall see, but I am pretty happy with it. It is good to have another DIY recipe that is different for a change.

Yet in another article they wrote... "Additionally, this research adds to the growing body of research pointing to the dangers of e-cigarettes. Especially for asthma, further research is needed in order to assess the risks of long-term e-cigarette use."

I hope those who support vapers can get the non-supporters to stop promoting stuff like this... "E-cigarettes are now the most commonly used tobacco product among youth, and use continues to climb,"....That comes from the director of the CDC & I'd like to know how something that does not contain tobacco can be called a tobacco product?

Well now that i have swam out of the flooding and made it back to work! I know i am a little late for this, but really they made the purple. oh well i guess IF my radius ever fails i will be forced to get the purple. So sad! :(

I wasn't going to wait for the "it doesn't happen" to happen, so I just sold mine and will be ordering a Purple this week. Yes I will!

If I thought I could go without my radius from r any length of time I would probably do that too. I think I would cry if I did not have mine. It is like an extension of my hand. Lol I would have to be able to afford the new one then sell mine. Haha
