short review,

product works great, meets my expectations and more. good vapor production, long battery life, dripping friendly. i just wish this thing was out about 4 months ago when i started vaping. i'd defenitly recommend this product to others. i'm thinking this'll be the last purchase i make for a while,except for batteries and atomizers.

but, a couple of complaints. ok, right out of the box examining it, there's scratches on the paint job. oh well, it would have gotten scratched up by me eventually, so no biggy. and then at the back where the battery cap screws in the paint is chipped off a little.
oh and the battery cap is a b*tch to get on and off. if i put a little lube on it, it won't screw it up will it?

As for blemishes in the paint job, I can understand why that would be disappointing. This is the first time I've heard a reviewer say that their Prodigy had been delivered with cosmetic blemishes, so this certainly doesn't appear to be the norm.

I believe Steve takes quality control very seriously, so if you send him a PM, I think he will be glad to do something to make this right for you.

just got my new prodigy, love it, though one thing that would make it better imo is if there was a notch in the batery cap so you could use a quarter or screwdriver to open, close it

The battery cap will get easier to get on and off after a couple of days. I guess the spring gets a little weaker and the threads get a little looser.

yep ive had my prodigy for a lil overe a week now and the spring does loosen up on the end cap and the threads get a lil easier too overall it would be nice if they where notched but the way it is now that its loosened up a bit I find it very easy to change the batterys so notches would be a good idea but diffently not neccesary.

Prodigy and PT's arrived today. Quick review.

Prodigy (801):
All flavors I have tried so far are enhanced. Fuller and "cleaner" tasting.
2 second toke = more than I got from toking 7-8 seconds on a 801 battery.
Hit is excellent.
Vapor is enough to create a weather system in my room!
No problem with battery cap.
Will have to adjust adapter to fit BE112 attys, of which I have many.
Will certainly cut down on nic level. My usual level (15-16) is too much now. Prodigy guzzles juice but since I will be cutting it, the balance will be a wash.

PT (801):
Just like the Prodigy for taste, vapor, hit. BE112 attys fit.
Overloaded my main USB plug-in but I have several others that work fine.
The cable looks like it could power the room!

PT (901):
I never suspected that a 901 atty could produce that much vapor. Close rival to the 801.

All:
Fit and finish is solid, attractive and very professional looking. This is the gear the others will have to try to beat.

I've got BE112 atomizers and my Prodigy worked straight away without any need for adjustment, which is fortunate.

I totally love this thing, for all the reasons people have posted. Any review on my part would just be redundant. Man, the switch placement alone makes it stand out from other options.

I'm Waaaaay Amazed ... Had my homemade Carmel apple in an Atty when I got home... Threw some Batteries in this Lil' Puppy, threaded on my 801 atty and damn near chewed my own tongue off! LOL
Didn't know my juice tasted that much like carmel apples!!! Realized I was actually tryin to subconsciencely "Chew the Vapor" !!!

Can't wait to try my other homebrews now!!! Hell, I might be a world renowned Chef/Barkeep and never known it!

Ok so when i got off my day shift i came home and checked the mail and the post lady hadnt came by yet so no dissapointment. I then went inside ate lunch and afterwards went outside to smoke a cigarette as do most when ther done eating plus i new the post lady had to of come by and i figured worst case is if i go to the mailbox and i find typical bills and no prodigy at least i have a cig to clam my anxiety(over dramatic but youll see why) when i got to the mailbox guess what

yup I got my prodigy when i got back to the doo i threw my cig out and went inside got my contents in the box situated and threw in the two partially charged batteries and have been analogue free since 2pm today and currently its midnight and im vaping away although i did throw in the freshly charged batts so i could go do a demo for a friend/potential ps customer

I got the 901 and am lovin it im curious about the 801 but at htis point in time could care less i tried a smoking every where e cig first when i first heard about e smoking and was very dissapointed but after alot of research now i can say i have never been more impressed by this little gadget the vapors great the riskee is up to full flavored par and like i said smoke free on the spot im not sure about a couple oustanding questions such as atomizer life and battery life but so far i can say...
