There is an equation over at bikeforums.net:

N+1=X

N being the number of bikes one owns.

X being the number of bikes one should own at any given moment.

As you can see, you are (in no way) over the limit.
Outfitted the new ride with these: Shimano M324 Pedals, best price I could find, though not advertised as such, they do have a little lateral play like the ones you showed me before. My knees felt fine on today's ride because of the little bit of lateral play allowed by these pedals:thumb::thumb: also picked up a Tourney group set to upgrade the old Trek road bike to brifters shifting, got a set of brand new levers and derailleurs from the bay. No more reaching for them down tube shifters for this old phart

You could go fishing with those pedals.

Welpwelpwelp, to all of you(s), and yeah, to Bronze. ;)

Thank you VERY (so) much for honoring me with all the VALLEY GIRL posts. I taught Moon all she ever needed to know.

Whilst I'm still awake, let me tell you all about a dream I had last night.
Background: I read about smoking being banned in Scottish prisons from Dec. 1, the smoking inmates are to be given free vaping gear for their first two months after which they will have to pay for it themselves.
The dream: I was in some sort of lecture room giving inmates instruction on how to vape and look after their equipment. Mostly they were interested but a few were upset with the new regulations, and it was obviously all my fault. How it finished - I have no idea.

On the subject of my misbehaving Radius:

I took a pair of Samsung 30Qs that I use for my Paranormal, I have two sets and they have only been used three times and put one in the Radius and another in my P3. Using two new 1.6Ω coils in two Kabukies. (sp.?:)) To take the configuration to it's illogical conclusion, I filled both tanks with the same juice! The Radius drained the battery at 190 puffs and the P3 is still going strong at 390 puffs and 42% battery. Since Provari Bill is no longer doing overseas repairs.....

The saga has come to an admirable end. AstroTurf volunteered to help me circumvent Provari Bill's understandable reticence to go through the hassle of sending repairs overseas. The plan, which worked admirably was:
  • I sent the troubled Radius to Provari Bill.
  • Bill repaired it.
  • Bill sent me the bill.
  • I paid Bill's bill.
  • Bill sent the Radius to AstroTurf.
  • AstroTurf modified the contents of the package.
  • AstroTurf sent me a notification of the shipping costs.
  • I paid AstroTurf.
  • AstroTurf sent me the modified package.
A larger and heavier package than expected arrived and when opened, to my surprise, not only my repaired Radius, but also another which kindly AstroTurf gifted me. Both of which I am thoroughly enjoying.
To compare pre- and post repaired Radii, pre was 190 puffs till drained, post is 616. "A component on the board failed". And so my Provari collection looks like this:

The repaired Radius is the blue one and the wonderful gift from the equally wonderful AstroTurf is next to it. I think this one was called "snakeskin" but I am open to correction.
Before anyone shouts at me, I know that using a Tatroe base on a P3 is frowned upon, but it has worked flawlessly for nearly two years alongside a Procyon end-cap when it has an outing.
Let me end with once again offering my thanks to AstroTurf for his help and generosity.
