My sense of time is all wonky from the autoimmune diseases & esp the brain fog; hwr, sometime back we were discussing when & if anyone was able to write reviews for products within the GV Alpha Program and the rules were laid out, including ones regarding the same product on other sites.

Well, I happened to run across a product that I recall was in the Alpha Product area along with being discussed here regarding how it worked, any updates that would make it better, & other worthy questions/requests and/or options.

I explained how the Alpha Program was something of a confidentiality agreement much like the one I had to sign when I became a medical transcriptionist. It was okay for me to discuss procedures or new equipment used, particularly considering my primary account was in the level I trauma center (they're located at 50 or more miles away & the worst of the worst cases are airlifted to these types of trauma centers b/c they have specialists, equipment, & etc... to handle the massive traumas that give that little extra hope of pulling someone from death and back to life even if that chance of life comes with a long road of recovery and/or rehabilitation depending upon the accident or reason they were airlifted to the level I trauma center). I am bound by confidentiality with regards to ANY & ALL FACTORS OF THE PERSON BEING TREATED; hwr, I can discuss cases similar with other med staff & again, you can't throw a pebble in my family without hitting someone in the medical profession including an MD, PA, NP, RN, LPN, CNA II, etc... you get the picture I'm sure.

That's how the Alpha Program works. We are in a somewhat elite position of forging which new products move forward into GV's standard store or not. It's a tremendous responsibility IMHO, but one I take seriously.

That being said, the new Greensound SOLE 360 Kits are now in the GV store and moved out of the Alpha program. (If I'm mistaken moderators, please feel free to chime in but there is a note stating this was moved from the Alpha Program and into the Got Vapes Store; I double-checked and had my reader go over it a few times before writing this) As it stands now, anyone who tried this product or wants to try a different one within the line, now is your time to write a review of the e-cig for GV without compromising the confidentiality clause that allows us to be members of the Alpha Program.

The day the question was posted on this thread, I mentioned that if those who wanted to share information about the product would simply wait and be patient, your time would come. This is exactly what I meant. The patience of those who really liked the Greensound SOLE 360 Kits can be rewarded now with the opportunity to write up a review on it and do so without compromising your position here as an Alpha participant.

I hope this makes sense to those who were curious; I hope even more than I have explained this in the best and most understandable manner b/c we have had hot, hot weather and I have been miserable with it. Thank goodness for air condition but to "bleep" with the power company! LOL! I'm dreading our next power bill even if we do have a gas hot water heater and grill foods rather than using the stove in the summer months even if we do have an outstanding vent system over an equally amazing drop-in stove that sits perfectly where the previous one did despite the need for some shaving of my custom cabinets due to the standards' sizes having changed in some 40+ yrs. (I had a professional woodworker trim down the cabinets - NO WAY WAS I ALLOWING DH ANYWHERE NEAR THOSE CABINETS!) It looks nice and the oven temperature is perfectly set, which is a first since we bought the house b/c the stove & dishwasher were both original to the house and still going strong though the oven on the former drop-in stove was off by about 5 to 8 degrees, which wreaks havoc when you're trying to bake pies, cakes, & especially souffles. They'll fall like a flattened pancake if not taking extra care when baking from stepping around in the kitchen through holding the perfect temperature. But now, it's all good.

Best of luck guys. If anyone writes reviews on the new products moved from Alpha to the GV's PUBLIC STORE, I hope they are well written & contain enough information that the person reading the review can make a fully informed decision. After all, that is what reviews are there to do. :)

ALPHA - The Sax Bottom Coil LED Enhanced eGo Clearo - Blue, Red, Green, Yellow LED
$2.95

Indeed this is a UNIQUE offering, out-of-the-box, cool, fun, sure-to-turn-heads clearomizer offering. It utlizes a saxophone shaped mouthpiece that offers a natural curve to the mouth to give somewhat of a pipe style of vape. The coil in these units is installed at the base and it is fixed - you cannot change these out. It provides 4 different LED colors that light up as you vape.

These have received good early reports and the manufacturing process has been further improved. So we decided to bring this in BUT for our ALPHA group at a special low price to tell us what you think and give us a recommendation as to whether these would be desirable in mainline even though you cannot change out the coil heads. Do they last long enough? How does the LED light hold up? These are the things we want to know and find out. If these perform well we think they would be a great addition to GotVapes mainline product selection. So give us your feedback!

  • LED lit in four different colors: blue, green, red, yellow/orange. LED only lights up when you vape.
  • Fixed bottom coil
  • Vortexed inner air tube
  • 2.0ml
  • ~2.2-2.4ohm
  • eGo threaded (not a skirt! you will need to use a 510/eGo adapter to use this on a non-eGo mod)
  • Easy to pull and reinsert silcone top seal. You, of course, remove this to fill.
  • Packaged in a long branded paper box
  • Priced low for our fantastic ALPHA members

Just got my SAX bottom coils in, like 20 minutes ago. These are my first impressions: They're super easy to fill. It was a bit difficult to get it threaded on my Spinner. I noticed it with both the orange and the red that I ordered. The LEDs are flippin awesome. Smooth draw, good flavor. It's actually one of the best clearos for the LiQua Coffee that I've used. I really like this little unit so far. It performs well, looks cool, and the mouthpiece has an interesting feel. It's definitely something I would love to see GV carry on a regular basis. If they ever come out with a changeable coil, I'm going to be all over that.

The picture doesn't even begin to do it justice. And the orange on purple definitely has a Halloween vibe. I've been pretty much chain vaping it for about an hour and barely made a dent in my juice. Smooth, consistent hits and flavor. Not a dry hit in the bunch. Overall, I'm totally diggin it. Gotta order me a green and a blue.

HA. It seems as if dan the man knows my payday cycle and vape budget. always dropin new items when theirs a double goose egg in my account. nice pic there gypzy. I am certainly intrigued by those leds. It kinda reminds me of the micromizer xl7's(anyone else remember those?). Im hoping they hold up well to leakage, unlike the xl's. even more hoping that their well be a couple left by the time I see a pay check. If not no biggie but will wait for reviews from the great alphas. and see if they pass the test.
