Was wondering the same thing on the scorpions, if there was a center tube and an inner breathe tube. Didn't make sense to have wicks in the air tube like that with a top coil.
Was looking at those pics again....is it possible to have too much wick in there? I had a clearo once that looked a lot like these without the center tube and it almost acted like all that wick was somehow restricting flow. I know that sounds stupid, the wick is in there to.....well,,, wick! But it was SO packed in there that nothing seemed to move.
Does that make ANY sense at all?

I was thinkin the same thing.
I removed the queen wick from one of the ones I was vaping and it seemed to improve a bit.
Been very busy and haven't had a chance to pay a visit but really impressed with how all of you are putting things through their paces and quite so thoroughly. Chris and I appreciate it and are reading through everything. If we see a common thread of an item that seems to be working well out-of-the-box or could SHINE with a few tweaks here and there we will follow up and possibly work with manufacturer and move a product in a second phase of Alpha, more of a pre-release. Bring it back into the ALPHA category at same marginal cost, etc. Thanks much to everyone...
OK, the thing with the center tube makes a lot of sense, guys.
On the other hand, if you let it sit for three hours, it stops giving dry hits too. LOL Seriously, I've chainvaping this at about 3.8 on the Twist.
Good news: not dry hits. A bit of "warning" hits here and there, but then I just stop for a short while an it's good again.
Bad news: no flavor. GV's Caramel Apple is a pretty strong tasting juice. I can' barely taste it. But, it's early in the game yet. I might try feeding some juice down the center tube in a bit and see if it helps.

This warranted another reply: you are absolutely right. That's exactly what it is: a CE2 sitting inside a tank, except that the CE2 is not removable... I did take it apart to make sure - just call me a cat.

mine seems about normal so far - taste might be just a hair off but i am not good about that and i think i am getting spoiled by the phoenix bc
no leaking or drips which is odd for a ce2 type with no seal not sure i get it or why it doesn't leak over the top of the tube - surface tension i guess...
it didn't like chainvaping but it hasn't sat long yet either - and the dry hits wernt exactly dry but but like briar said kinda a warning to set it down for a min...

I am using a fairly thin liquid in mine and, after sitting for 4 hours, I still only got a handful of hits before it starts to taste dry. Maybe 6 to 8. I has just been sitting for almost 3 hours since, and I was able to get 2. Taste was alright, it probably needs to be broken in before making a final call though.
Interesting. It seems like I'm getting a totally opposite experience from everyone else. I am having no wicking problems but the flavor is muted and sorta "one-dimensional" - I'm missing all the nuances, or, maybe the bottom notes - like I said, the caramel just isn't there.
What voltage are you guys vaping at? I'm doing about 3.5 on the Twist right now. I've gone to 3.7, but it does start acting up a bit there.

just a regular ego so far dont want to turn it up till i'm sure its broke in good lol
I've gone from 3.0 all the way to 6 ish (yuck) just to see hoe it handles.

I'm going at 3.7-4.0 on them. I'm hoping it will loosen up.
Had to do my first Rocket modification. The Scorpion was a pita to get to connect. I noticed the top of the connector sat about 1/32 below the top of the plastic. Razor blade and a file, now it is nice and (fairly) even. Now no connection problem.

I think I'm quitting for tonight... I've vaped so much on the Scorpion today that my lips are sore. And my taste buds are probably shot to "that place".
I'm gonna go vape on nice mellow cheesecake for awhile and relax... Now I'm beginning to have Rocket-envy, stacked batts and all... Sigh. I need another PV like a need another hole in my head. Or in my wallet. Wait now... This whole vaping thing is a hole in my wallet!

I had no trouble at all getting the Scorpion to fire on my Rocket. But I'm really not feelin the luv with this Scorpion. If I put a couple drops in the center tube I get a couple good hits but then it turns icky. Nasty burning plastic taste.. I've tried from 3.0 to 4.2. I'm just not having much luck with it.. honestly, I had the same problem with the Nova,, constant dry hits. Maybe it's me? I think I might try and take that big "queen" wick out and see what happens..
Luv, what juice are you vaping, and at what voltage - sorry if you said before, but I'm not seeing it...

I might dissect 1 (of 2) and see what I can do to help it out. Is the center tube just held in by an o-ring? I noticed it would rock from side to side pretty easy....
Well, I sold the Vivi.. I just couldn't get it to work for me. the juice I'm using is ECB Dragon's Dream, 70/30. So it should be thin enough, right? I do have some pg if you think I should thin it down more. But I also have a lot of 50/50 stuff.. I don't know, I've has such bad luck with anything that wasn't a plain ol carto. I keep going back to those. Don't like stardusts, tried CE3s,, and a few other clearo's but not thrilled with any of them. I had high hopes for this one..it looks pretty darn good on the rocket with a ss ming drip tip..

which vivi, that might of simply been your version 1 heads, version 2.5 should not be giving you wicking issues.
