so has anyone figured out what to fiddle with on the scorpion? If i leave it on the desk all day and come home from work its great for about 6-7 hits then starts getting harsh, i have tried loosening the cap to give it more air, it seems to help a little but not enough. I like the design and the principle very much and so much want it to work better.

the new items coming in look fun, i have the original gripper and have wore the coating off it, its time for an upgrade and maybe I will turn this one into a wood mod :)

I can say I am loving the Alpha program. I like trying new things and chatting about them. I am not in love with the Scorpion, but I think its because I got the ViVi Nova a week and a half before. Also all my mixes involve cinnamon usually. But I can see why its an attractive product for many. I think it may be eclipsed by the smaller Nova that on its way. Now the VV Rocket was wow out of the mailer. Have hardly put it down in a week.

Point is whether every alpha products works for you or not, its great to get to try them out around cost. There are going to be winners in there for everyone along the way I am sure.

Thanks GV for the Alpha program, eager to see what you have next.

I love the Alpha:

It gives me an opportunity to try stuff out for an incomparable price - in return for giving an honest feedback on the item. It's definitely a win for me, since I love blabbing about new stuff anyway. It's just that without the Alpha, I wouldn't be able to afford it as much. :D

In return, GV gets honest opinions without people .....ing (if you pardon my language, but I can't come up with a better word) about "wasting money on an untested product", blah, blah, blah, and having to endlessly explain that, yes, it has been tested, but, no, you can't possibly test for every possible situation that happens "in the wild".

In this case, we are a subsection of the "wild". So, naturally, we will likely encounter as many different situations with each product as possible and report what happens.

Basically, in return for really, really good prices for new toys, we have a responsibility to report on those toys - and be nice about it. No .....ing. :D

It's been great so far. I love being a part of a positive, constructive atmosphere.

I think today will be the day I take that rocket apart and try to clean all the juice out of it's innards.. yikes! And will have to look around and see if I've got something to seal around the top so it doesn't happen again. Other than that one little blip, I still really like it. The Scorpion.. I just can't get it to work right,, and it dumped all the juice the other night when I left it on it's side.. blech! In the back of the toolbox for that one.. and CANNOT WAIT for the new goodies!!!

If you've got a tube of silicon sealer or a high-temp hot glue gun, run a bead around the 510 connector and the top edges of the rocket & you should be good to go. It'll squish out a little when you reassemble (you have to be quick with the high-temp hot glue) and then you can scrape away the excess when it cures.

HTH!

bottom coiled and 3.5ml but we just had the beta

dbt2.PNG

it was good but needed some adjustments, they said they have made many and that is shown in the first pic.

second pic is beta like i had.we did not work on this product in any way but if people like them we can get involved.

these are more expensive to us then any product yet, but in true alpha fashion we will keep them cheaply priced for alpha.
not sure how many people will carry thee as the price is very high though
