I'm waiting on the optically driven heating unit type of clearo... a metal plate is heated by a laser instead of a coil heated by electricity.

WOOHOO!! Just ordered a VV Rocket! Time to start stalking the mailman again! 
Well got my C8's yesterday and wanted test it before I gave my opinion on these. They appear to be very well made were easy to fill and the vape flavor is good, did find it works well with the mini PT. Does seem to dry hit some and gurgle some although this seems to be resolved with blowing thru it. No leaking so far, I think it is a nice item but just not something I feel I would use as an all day choice.
Also saw in an earlier post that someone had issues with the Rocket resetting the voltage back to 3.0 from a bad cart/clearo. I just experienced the same problem when using a Phoenix on it, the resistance had changed on it and would not allow me to use it on my Rocket, was able to still use it on my iTaste and other mods, so just put on a new Phoenix and everything is still good to go.
Looking forward to the new items dropping soon, although my bank account isn't really happy with all the stuff I have recently bought, LOL. Thinking its time to ask for a raise or find a better paying job to support my ever growing habit/hobby. Drop those bombs GV I'm ready.

Strange that so far the first impressions of the V8 I've read have included both occasional dry hits, AND gurgling.
I know, it's strange. Sometimes it happens at the same time and I don't know why. Usually it's one or the other.
Do the older versions leak really bad out the top if they're turned upside down? This one flipped over while in my lap and I had a pool of juice on the couch. Isn't there supposed to be a vacuum of sorts?
It looks like they might have fixed the dumping problems, but I'm not sure if it's been long enough to tell for sure.
Bad, please tell me that the swirly batteries and tanks haven't been scrapped from Alpha. Please. Out of those last teasers you gave us, we've only gotten one and I'm dying to see the others!
