Sorry about that one... it is a better fit in the MEGA Contest thread really instead of here... Just a reference to AG51's style of posting... in other threads besides the contest one, she is usually posting fairly normal ( -ish )...

CE5 Update

....I killed it ....yup it's a gonner ...did NOT survive it's second cleaning ...got a RED coil 2-3 times, then POOF !

And I can NOT ...for the life of me... get the damn thing apart

So NO re-coiling....ahh well...it was nice while it lasted 'bout 2 weeks continuous use ....
only used other stuff while cleaning that one & when it ran outta juice while out a few times...so NOT too bad

That does sound pretty good - and no leaks? Two weeks of constant use is definitely cost effective, imho. Not being able to take it apart is not a major problem for me, personally, since i don't take apart the regular Stardusts either... Though I'd imagine this configuration can be made modular pretty easily too - just use the whole stem with wicks inside as a screw-in...

I haven't been using mine as heavily as I should have, for testing, (playing with too much stuff at the same time), but mine is good, so far. Great flavor, great vapor, no leakage, no dry hits, no flooding - pretty perfect, actually.

How'bout everyone else? Personally, I'd love to see this mainlined, if the leakage is not a major problem... And with colorful tubes!

Yes, you're right LD, base and coil stems are interchangeable...

With the previous revision of the E1 and E3, they were identical except for the tube. So, if that design stays true, you can use the tube from the E1 on these, and have a second E1. So, if anyone can verify this, it may be a good idea to grab an E1, when getting your freebie.

mine never worked.. some kind of blockage never fired either

Why is the price the same if it is going mainline? I thought we were getting Alpha products at cost. Just curious when I saw it on the site the other day. It would make sense to me that the price would go up when it goes "public".
