so i filled up my 10ml apollo tank and uses it a few times then the gurling and flooding started, now i have juice running out my battery, what can i do to stop this?

To stop the juice from coming out the battery connection I just pushed the connector on the Apollo tank in a bit and all is well. It took care of 90% of the gurgling, but I actually cut the silicon cap that's on top of the addie...so, that may be the 10% gurgle that I am getting now, certainly it is better after pushing the pin in just a bit. I'm going to put an original uncut silicon cap on the addie and see if that stops it all together. Flavor and throat hit and vapor is rocikin it! :toast:

Now I remember why I gave up on the ego-t and ego-c and all the other tank cart crap. Been messing with this for about ten minutes now. Can not get it to feed a drop. If I was not priming the heck out of the wick I would be getting nothing. As it is I am getting next to nothing. My throat, nostrils and lungs hurt from the burning dry hits. It is also reading only 1.6 ohms. Way too hot for me. I'll probably rewick it over the weekend but that does not solve the no feeding issue. Anyone else have the no juice feed thing going on? Thank God I had the taffy to soothe my throat.

Yet another RBA sighting! :hubba: The Phoenix bully is listed. $15? Not bad! Haven't I seen these things for like $40 elsewhere?

Maybe I won't wait for the tank after all...

Been vaping off this Bully for 7 hours now. All GV stuffs aside, as I don't open my beak often and not until I'm happy. By far the best vape I have ever had. Not one dry hit, flavor spot on delish and the vapor I can't see anything else. So in love with this. :2c:

Okay I shut up now, got it out of my system  Carry on with the alphas Love reading em..

Is there a video or some other kind of post explaining how to set up the CE9? Just curious. I have not been able to find one. What may be simple for some can be difficult for others.

I think they are about the same as the Phoenix RBA...there is some videos on Youtube

OK first shipment today... Vaped a lot of juice, feeling a little green, throat burns (ce9's fault) Here are my thoughts...

Alpha Meerkat iGo aka Amigo:
* No brainer, just glad I have one, but the thing is just TINY. I mean you put a cone on it and it doubles in size. It's smaller than my DCT. I love it. It works great on my 1.5 ohm DCT
* The Amigo does not function with my CE9 5 piece rebuildable tank atomizer. I'll get to the bottom of that later.

Greensound SOLE eLips (I will keep this short as I have read everyone's posts about this and I know many have reviewed this):
* Super Cute. Simple packaging, Clean looks nice. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with the appearance and feel of this tiny little monster.
* Charger port or the stem on my USB plug is bent. Charged and meters out at roughly 3.8 volts so far.
* Carto, super simple to fill... I primed it with a few drops and vaped... good, good, warning. I blocked the draw holes on the side of the carto and created a suction, this helped get the fluid going. I have been priming, pumping and vaping off and on for almost a tank now. Good vapor, low flavor/throat hit with a touch of plastic flavor over the top, not overwhelming. I am vaping a pretty thin 80/20 blend that wicks well in my DCTs and most anything else I have tried it on. It's a menthol and seems to be lost in the flavor. My carto meters out at 3.1 ohm.
* My wife saw it, and instantly wants one.
* The mouthpiece (not a driptip) is amazing, one of the most satisfying experiences outside of a normal wide opening drip tips. Solid feel and look. I remember someone compared it to a pipe and I agree a little bit, in that this feels substantial unlike the mouthpiece on the Vision Grande (no offense guys).
* Overall I would buy more of these just to have spares. I like this over the eGo styling and feel, plus the top coil carto. One last thing I am exited for the 510 connection.

CE9 5 Piece Atty Tank:
* Oh boy, this thing is a heaping hot mess.
* Heavy, decent threads, good materials. Looks good on the Amigo and my SB.
* Mine meters out at 2.4 ohm (at the posts, the connection goes all around from 8 ohm to 1.8 ohm and maybe that's my fault because it's hard to meter there with a probe).
* I can't stand these tanks still, no matter how many times I try, the draw is too stiff and unsatisfying.
* The sleeve for the eGo is just a loose ring of metal, nothing more.
* I took the whole thing apart right away. The first piece is the terrible tank, pull it out, simple. The second section is the screw on surround for the tank, when this is removed you can see the puncture/wick portion that goes in to the tank. This area was filled with silica wicking in tiny pieces everywhere. The whole feeder wick was a mess and looked just bad. I cleaned that out and pulled the wick out to try to make it one solid clean looking piece. The next level down (there is a part that separates below the bottom and second to bottom diamond textured sections) is the coil wrapped wick. The picture from the alpha site shows it perfect, the wicking is a mess in there too.
* To get it vaping I soaked the wick and coil section, fired it a few times (open not reassembled) made sure it was producing and soaked it again a few times. While I was doing this I saw that the wicking wouldn't wick enough juice in to keep the coils wet. It would dry out right within the coil section, when I let go it would then wick back in, but it dried out fast! I don't know if the coil is too close together or if the wicking material needs to break in. Once the coil was wet, I soaked the feeder wick, adjusted it, mounted the tank and fail within about 6 puffs. This will be a project.
* I had luck with popping out the tank portion and the feeder wick and using it like a dripper. Nice dripper 2 drops = 2-3 drags. None of my drip tips fit without a tank but I just used the tank cover portion and it vaped well. I might just make this a washable dripper at this rate.

My tips will come with fiddling, but until then my early vote count goes like this:

Amigo was a no brainer, way to go on Mainlining this one.

eLipse, Good, but needs some instruction on juice, filling and such for regular customers

CE9, this is a rough prototype looking set of guts with a nice frame. I would vote against the eGo tanks all in all. This thing wont feed very well for me yet, though I did vape a half a tank on my SB (mostly dry hits with a few winners).

Well darn..got all excited when my account was updated to alpha...went to list of alpha to grab the items I had been drooling over and..."sold out" greeted my eyes on almost the entire list. Oh well...at least I am ready to pounce when new goodies drop. May still try the Apollo tank on a different battery...just really wanted the one with the"perty lights".

I recived my CE9 Rebuildable Atomizer with eGo-c style base today and had the same problem that others are having with getting dry hits, I ran a wick up through the metal section that has the pointed tip that goes into the tank.
I ran the wick into the tank and left about 3/4" hanging down so it will sit on top of the coil, this small mod works great.
I'm now vaping it with virtually no dry hits now. I really like the way it works now and would love to have a couple more to experiment with, so send them my way if you don't like yours LOL... :D
I've only bean using it for a few hours now but I can do five or six long hard hits in a row and get great vapor every time.
I can really run through the 1.4ml Tank fills pretty fast at 4.0 volts.

Thank you for the response. If I find anything I will post it here. I understand the process but others may not. I also like to see how others do things.

I had wondered about the liquid delivery on these ....
when I saw the pic I could not see a wick in the "spike" like we used on EGO-T's,
but assumed we were gonna need 'em .

Even with the coil differences between these two devices ...the liquid still had to get there .
I don't see how the juice could get thru the spike & drop on the wick otherwise *...
Be aware that it might over wick if you let it sit long tho with wick in tank*.
I always trimmed my wick even w/the top of the spike on T's, that may be all that is needed here too.

I THINK, if memory serves...but then again...
this issue may have been resolved long ago & I am just not aware of the fix
...I do not have a CE9 yet & even tho I probably have 5-6 ego-t's, I have not used them in over a year ....so I maybe WAY OFF here

Why does GV always do this? I mean, I order and they put up something else I want a few hours later. I guess I can understand adding as they are ready, but can't you guys at least wait a few days in between new additions? Arrgh! Maybe a 'New Product Wednesday' or something....

Man, now I will have to wait to order something else to pick up the Bully....and then they will add the 'Dark Phoenix Mega Rebuildable System' the next day....

There should be more batteries to come in. many weren't able to get their paws on one. If it's still showing in Alpha, chances are they will be back...or mainlined as is the case for the passthrough ;)

You have to send keela and adrena flowers and chocolate everyday for a year..... uhmmm....and send me chocolate too. I don't have any part in the decision making, but I love chocolate!! lol

If you've been a long time customer, probably just pm bad or danno since you don't have that many posts and tell em you want in. But ya gotta be a little bit crazy to put up with all the rest of us that are a lot crazy!

Wow - great feedback in here - thanks for the upgrade danno :toast: (CE9 & Bully now on order)

Totally seeing how that tank on the CE9 would need a feeder of some sort (yes, of course, I'm thinking COTTON :p). Can the top portion of that atty be mounted directly on the bottom without the middle (tank piercing section) in there? Anyone know if those are standard tank size - they look it, but I haven't any others to try. I might stop in the local place - I know they have eGo-T's there.

On the 510-T, if I were to draw a few times before hittin the switch, it would help feed the wick too - does drawing on these CE9's net any air bubbles in the tank for you (any change with a wick added)? [Of course, the in/out maneuver of the tank itself would help as much/more]

Great time to be a vaping tinkerer - keep the great toys coming! :)
