Sorry, bad! Got distracted. Nicotine ADD.

So, I see square atties, but... no square batteries?

There were supposed to be more of those many months ago, but I'm guessing they were abandoned and I'm glad that happened before I realized what I did about them. While they are generally not a bad item (and performed well enough), the connection at the battery is simply too short and will not stand up very long. Eventually you will be unable to get it to stay connected - it just strips out or the end threads of a tank will break off inside it. I suppose if you are VERY careful with them (NEVER place in a pocket or purse or anywhere they may get roughed up and definitely don't drop) they are OK. It's too bad - they are pretty good other than that connection.

I loved my little Kanger S1, but I agree on the fragile nature of the connection. It was a nice, small unit and it performed nicely... it just couldn't stand up to even mild abuse. I have since moved on to the iTaste MVP and I just got a Tesla... (hint to Bad & Danno... I just couldn't wait any more to get one, so I got the chrome. I can wait to buy the black one until you get them in :) )

The Dome Dripper - eSolid Atomizer

Got some of these to try a couple days ago. Wanted to give them a try and share with a friend,
to get their opinion on it, too, before posting.

Like others have mentioned, it resembles something that is only for certain folks to see...I'm
happyhappyhappy to be out of the loop with that crowd. :)

It does perform very well for it's intended use. If dripping is your thang, it works very well.

The Dome Dripper.
As with many startup products, there is work to be done to fine tune it. Some suggestions
would be:

1. A larger ceramic bowl to hold more wick. To allow for more wick and more of the solid.
(Not sure how well the solid would wick from a reservoir, though...might give it a go with
a RBA.)

2. Lose the 'Light Bulb' design...make it cylindrical, like a DCT. (Might prevent a 'Stop',
if a cop happened to see you with it...IDK.)

3. Needs a tighter fit...the drip tip fits nicely, but not the business end.

4. Needs a 'carburetor' to get rid of the vapor left in the tank. When the vapor
condenses (inside the 'tank'), the residual liquid produced eventually leaks out. True a
'carburetor' would require the use of an additional finger when vaping, but the use of the extra
finger would be an insignificant learning curve.
Short fingers might require a two handed operation.:D

The Solid.

1. For real...Fire whom ever it was that approved the packaging. What a PITA it is to
see what flavor is in the tube. Dark Blue BG with Black Font Color,
a six year old could figure that one out.

2. More fine tuning on the solid to bring out the flavor. There are great possibilities here,
the Strawberry does taste better than many of the Strawberry juices I've tried (only a couple,
but I do especially like the Flux Liquids (FLüX™ Nectar - Strawberry Peach SMASH).

3. Change the color of the tubes for each flavor...something that resembles what's in tha tube.

Thanks GV for doing the Alpha...I couldn't be more pleased, it's a great program for checking
new products.

Holy ...., just used my dome dripper - I am in SPACE right now. I didn't know nicotine could feel like this, hooooly hell.

So, for one, I love the bulb design. Watching it fill with vapor is actually really cool. As for the poster above mentioning a carb - I just slide the dome off and suck the vapor in.

As far as the solid itself, holy ...., I'm reeling. It doesn't taste that bad. I got Apple High (anyone wanna trade? I don't vape high) and Banana Mid, and the banana, though tasting artificial, tastes like a fake banana. So it's accurate enough. That said, the solid doesn't last as long as you'd think, but the sheer power of it simply requires less dripping altogether, methinks.

Altogether not a bad product. Hell, I might just try dripping some liquid on the little wick and watching the bulb, it's so cool!

Okay, so, updates on the dome dripper:

I discovered it is definitely rebuildable. The ceramic bowl unscrews and the inside looks just like a vivi nova head, almost.

The airhole is a ...... I dunno if I need to wash it out or if it's just tight by design (or maybe I'm spoiled by my protank), but you need to DRAG on this thing.

It's not very cleanly, but you can't really solve that. Expect some wet fingertips from condensation buildup. Easily cleaned with a tissue, though.

That's about all for now. Gonna order some kanthal and wick (maybe stainless mesh too) and wrap a new coil for it.

Whoops. Sorry about that. My intent was to show folks that, if they wanted the e-solid dome from GV but were hesitant to buy because of the limited choices of flavors, that there was more product out there, and that they SHOULD go ahead and give the dripper dome from GV a try.

Regardless, I see what I did wrong and I won't do it again.
I promise!
