I follow the same rules as smoking because I do realize that not everyone wants to smell Belgium waffles with vanilla custard. Also people tend to get nutty enough and tell you it's worse them smoking. Plus I just see it as respectful I wouldn't want some breathing alcohol all over me or even drinking it near me (but I'm not the type to complain just can't stand the smell or taste of it lol)

An EX smoking Vaper is an addict.. Just like with a EX heroine user or drinker is still an addict even if the no longer use.
Sorry if that offends, but sometimes the TRUTH hurts.
In a compassionate world, the term addict should have minimal negative connotations. That is the reason why treatment centers and substance abuse counselors are separate from the rest of the human services world.

Who is "they"? I would like to read up on that report.
Curious what the other 5% is made up of.
Farsalino. Here's a page that quotes him. I don't have the time to find the exact study again right now, but pulled this up with a quick Google search.

Health Professionals Agree That Ecigarettes Are 95 Percent Safer

Fwiw, breathing air is also roughly 95% safe. That's one of the points he made, iirc. That there no detectable difference between normal air and vapor produced in a normal manner (read normal as a properly functioning vaporizer, rather than running a clearomizer at twice the intended voltage resulting in burning wicks and whatnot).

This sounds like the ANTZ theory that if you ever touched tobacco in any form or quantity, you got addicted and the "addict" title for life whether you continue to use it or not etc. Thus the only true way to combat addiction is to completely prevent anyone from ever coming in contact with tobacco products. Except NRTs which, by definition, are drugs not tobacco products and thus not addictive.

Actually, Goebbels never said this. It is a popular fake.
The Goebbels saying was:
The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous

Pics please. 'Cause it will the first time in the history of ECF that claims about Walmart cloud chasers would be substantiated. You'll have a first.

I went to Wal_Mart and marched to the cereal aisle like a big dog! Four seconds before turning into the isle I had my IPV 5 fire button held down so my kayfun coil would be white hot and ready for humongous tootle puffer clouds. As I turned the corner I was met with a site that disgusted me! (not to be confused with disgusting of me which only happens when I get really really really drunk or someone is dumb enough to cook red beans or white beans for me).

NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON IN THE CEREAL AISLE! NOT ONE! No vapors, No residual clouds...nothing. Needless to say, I took my finger off the fire button and casually slipped my vape back into my pocket and with a look of pure defeat, I moseyed over to the DVD department and sulked. :(

On the bright side I did find a Louis L'aMour 3 movie western collection for $10. :pop:

Reading the statements from so many vapers who think they are experts in toxicology explains why most the public want to regulate vaping.
You don't have to be an expert in toxicology when common sense is sufficient.
And in this case, after reviewing the available studies, it is.

If one reads the forums, a great percentage of people are allergic to PG. Some of us like high PG e-liquids, however. What happens to the PG in exhaled 'vapor?' Is it only vapers who are so prone to PG allergies?...
I would rephrase that...

A great percentage of new vapers mistake quit-smoking symptoms with a PG allergy.
A real allergy to PG is far, far less common than the "great percentage" that you have suggested.

"Respect the others" should not mean rolling over to every random whim of people with a sick need to control other people's lives.
"Respect the others" should not mean bowing to the demands of people who are being disrespectful themselves.
Instead of a "Like" button, I wish we had a "This is the Truth and all the rest is Crap" button.

Um.. what you just said is "outdoors is fair game, unless someone arbitrarily decides it's not."

Nope. Outdoors is fair game. Period. If you live in one of those states that seems to want to regulate every waking minute of your life, or where you can BREATHE, my advice would be, "move." There are other places in this country where people have some sense.

I would agree, except I live in the best city on planet earth.
I've tried to find somewhere else to retire, but I've failed thus far.

I don't think moving is the right answer for me.
So I stealth vape with a very high degree of skill and acumen.

Since you vape with children even while inside a car, what evidence do YOU have that it is NOT harmful.

Comparison of the effects of e-cigarette vapor and cigarette smoke on indoor air quality. - PubMed - NCBI
Non-cancer risk analysis revealed "No Significant Risk" of harm to human health for vapor samples from e-liquids.

The study indicates no apparent risk to human health from e-cigarette emissions based on the compounds analyzed.

http://clearstream.flavourart.it/site/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/CSA_ItaEng.pdf
there is one fact: 5 vapers using e-cigarettes for 5h in a small room without renewal of indoor air do not produce detectable levels of nicotine in the air.

No glycerine was detected in air during cigarette smoking. On the other hand, 72μg/m3 were detected during e-smoking. This amount is much lower than the threshold safety limit (TWA-TLV 10mg/m3) and much lower than the threshold for moderate risk.

During the traditional cigarette smoking session, 6 out of 16PAHs were identified. Nothing was identified during the e-cigarette session.

The above experiment, within the limits of the observed parameters, has underlined that e-smoking does not produce detectable amounts of toxic and carcinogenic substances in the air of an enclosed space.

IJERPH | Free Full-Text | Comparative In Vitro Toxicity Profile of Electronic and Tobacco Cigarettes, Smokeless Tobacco and Nicotine Replacement Therapy Products: E-Liquids, Extracts and Collected Aerosols
The toxicity evaluation was performed on e-liquids and pad-collected aerosols of e-cigs, pad-collected smoke condensates of tobacco cigarettes and extracts of SLT and NRT products. In all assays, exposures with e-cig liquids and collected aerosols, at the doses tested, showed no significant activity when compared to tobacco burning cigarettes. Results for the e-cigs, with and without nicotine in two evaluated flavor variants, were very similar in all assays, indicating that the presence of nicotine and flavors, at the levels tested, did not induce any cytotoxic, genotoxic or inflammatory effects. The present findings indicate that neither the e-cig liquids and collected aerosols, nor the extracts of the SLT and NRT products produce any meaningful toxic effects in four widely-applied in vitro test systems, in which the conventional cigarette smoke preparations, at comparable exposures, are markedly cytotoxic and genotoxic.

Norwegian Institute of Public Health must IMMEDIATELY retract false statements about passive e-cigarette exposure
As I calculated in my comment for the Spanish study, the level of nicotine intake from passive exposure to e-cigarettes is not only harmless but has absolutely no biological effect, even according to the strictest regulatory criteria.

Nicotine absorbed from “passive vaping” is minimal and with no health implications
Does it mean that passive vaping may lead to nicotine dependence?
Does it mean that nicotine is absorbed to such levels that it may cause harm to bystanders?
The answer to both questions is NO.

And there is a LOT more out there.

Oh, while I'm here, let me throw this at you.

The only thing the serious studies have concluded with any certainty is that vaping is less harmful than smoking for the addicted person. That's all.

IMO, Addicts do not have the right to vape anywhere except where it is legally prohibited ?
An EX smoking Vaper is an addict.. Just like with a EX {Moderated} user or drinker is still an addict even if the no longer use.
Sorry if that offends, but sometimes the TRUTH hurts.
Wow, vapers throwing around the word "addict" like a was frisbee or something.
That's kind of disgusting, and I would have hoped they would know better.
