I’m trying some more of the lemondowski in an rda and it’s really good. I keep liking several different lemon recipes but am almost to the point where that’s all I’m using. I hope I don’t get burnt out on it.

I initially tried Lemondowski with a short steep and thought it was good and a flavor maybe I would mix again. Two weeks or so passed and I had enough left in my 10ml sample taster bottle so tried it again. Oh my — so much better and will definitely be mixing more.

Figures, I just did a good size order. I think I have one thing on my wishlist right now.

I beat you by one flavor — I have two on my BCF list only because Chefs did not have one and the other I forgot to put on my Chefs list. BTW my first Chefs order came in nine days and my second order in seven days. I was very pleased.

Has anyone else tried the plex coils on the zenith? I ordered a box of the .5 plex coils to try and the flavor seems muted compared to the regular 1.6 coils. I thought maybe there was a long break in on them or something but I've run three or four tanks through this one and it's still weak on flavor.

I use the original Zenith Plexus Z mesh 0.5 ohm coils. I find the taste to be good with my tobacco flavors which is what I use them with. The coils last longer than I expected especially for tobaccos. From the little I have read, the new Z-Plex 3D 0.48 ohm mesh coils are even better. I definitely will be trying these soon.

@NotSoMini was it you that can’t vape WF because of a sweetner they use in their flavorings? If it was you which sweetner was it?

I can vape some of the WF flavors. If it has sucralose in it then no, I cannot taste the juice. @ceeceeisme told me that WF uses sucralose. EM is another sweetener that mutes the juice for me. At one time I contacted WF and they told me only their candy flavors have a sweetener in it. I think it may be beyond candy though.

The 30ml bottles arrived today. At least I think they did: a large, heavy box with breakable contents was left on my doorstep, and I can't imagine what else it might have contained. I managed to get it into the house and shove it somewhere I wouldn't trip over it, but that was it. I'll take a look at what arrived tomorrow, if all goes well.

The caps and 8ml bottles are also on their way, in two separate shipments. I'm excited to see what size box is required to hold 600+ caps.

I lead a very quiet life. Got to find excitement in the mundane.

They separated my 1st order "stuff" into 2 different shipments, because of where things were coming from. 1 large, heavier box came yesterday with the 111 bottles and all the caps, except for 34. Those 34 came in a box Monday. They could've been sent in a bubble mailer by USPS, instead of the box that was much bigger than needed and was shipped by FedEx.

Placed another small order by phone Monday. Ordered just a couple dozen of the 24-410 twist open caps (not in Clearance) that didn't show up as cap options on the page for the 4oz. LDPE 24-410 bottles I'd ordered. Would've gotten them then if they had. Wanted some for those bottles and for some 8oz. LDPE 24-410 bottles I'd ordered elsewhere. They shipped those caps by USPS at a really discounted shipping price.

About the box size your 600+ caps may come in...you may be surprised by the fairly small one they might come in. The 8mL bottle caps and the 1oz. ones are pretty small. But, they might use a much larger box than necessary, like they did for the 34 of mine that came separately. I could've fit probably 300 of them in it. I think their packers just use whatever size they happen to grab first. ;)

By the way - If you'd like me to send a few of the mesh bridged atomizers to you later today when I go into town...I'll need your mailing addy. :)

I’ve got the graham cracker custard in my zenith and was getting really pretty good flavor with the 1.6 but the .5 plex coil was very muted. I put the 1.6 back in since I don’t have any other coils besides the .5 until my 1.6 come in from FT. I just started using the zenith. I might try the 3D ones.

On a different note, I realized yesterday that I forgot to add the strawberry to the Dripping recipe. There were so many flavors in it that I lost track. I looked at the recipe again and realized that I didn't have the sweet strawberry so I used FA juicy strawberry instead. I don't want to place an order for just the sweet strawberry. I don't have any JF flavors yet.

I got an email from paypal this morning that 3avape had finally replied to my dispute. Paypal was supposed to make a decision by today. The first update on the tracking was 3-9 and then the next was on 4-12. I got an update this morning that it made it to IL so it's still probably a few days away. At this point I was honestly hoping that it was lost and I would get a refund from 3avape. It really surprised me that through this all they never offered a partial refund, store credit, or just to reship the tank. Like I said before, I'll add them to my list of never order from again vendors. They'll be right there with vaporbeast.

It sucks that they choose to do business that way. We really should make a list.

Well let me tell you my 3Avape story...

I ordered a tank from them too (although it didn't take long to reach me). My problem was I paid $3 to ship the tank and when it arrived it came with postage due to the tune of $11.68

    o_O

I never bothered to contact customer service - I just wrote it off as a lesson learned and put them on my "No Shop" list.

I keep a list on my phone under “notes” that I add to as people have issues. Some are ones others have used repeatedly with no problems, they just get there for “poor business practices”. I’ve ordered from 3avape several times with no problems, but I added them because IF I have a snafu, it looks like they won’t be responsive.

I'm honestly not surprised to hear of others having issues with them. After waiting a few weeks for my order, I checked my order history and hadn't ordered from them since 2016. Now I know why.

The FDA says that it is safe to reuse PET bottles. The info that PET can leech plastic chemicals is, according to the FDA, a myth. From an article, "Where did these nasty water bottle rumors come from? The FDA claims they came from an e-mail hoax that went viral. The information claiming this chemical leakage stemmed from a University of Idaho student’s masters thesis. This thesis was not subject to peer review, FDA review or published in a scientific journal." You can find similar information from many sources.

That said, it isn't easy to pry the tip off the bottle to wash it out. I often refill PET bottles with the same flavor that they did originally contain but at this price, tossing one (except for environmental factors) doesn't bother me.

Well, I had canceled the order before your post. They were nice and speedy about canceling but today the bottles arrived anyway. Since it appears I can reuse them, I emailed them to let them know so I can pay for them. So now I have a zillion bottles lol. Guess I don't need to hit @Zazie up for bottles.

Funny thing is I thought it was the stirrer thingy I ordered and wondered why it was in such a big box.

I had an interesting morning at work. I replaced some parts in a machine I was working on and when I powered it up, one of the big electrolytic capacitors blew up. It had checked good before powering up but must have been weak. It sounded like a shotgun going off and I was about five feet away.

    That is scary, @hittman

Bottle people gave me a discount for calling to report receiving bottles after the cancellation. That was nice, all paid for and done. Now, if the storm would stop knocking power out, I would be good.

Oh wow! Thank goodness you didn’t get hurt.

How long did you steep it? I made 30mls this past Tuesday and noticed that Nick recommended 7 days. Considering the custard in the recipe, I sort of figured it would need a bit longer than that.

I tried it with the seven day steep. It was OK but nothing I would rush to mix again. I tried it again around a two week and a tad steep and much, much better for my taste. Now I will mix again. The lemon flavor held up well. Next time i mix this, I will try at two weeks first since I cannot remember how much 'tad' is now. YMMV.

Thanks! I will give mine 2 weeks before trying it. I have high hopes for the recipe but don't have high hopes that I will love it since I usually steer clear of dessert vapes. It was hard to resist the rave reviews and then there is LEMON!!!!! :D
