I think I might use Biscuit for a base in my melon mix. After all it just flavors not food.
Well I haven't tossed it. I have made it a habit to keep my mixes (failed after fixing attempts) for one year. I was pleasantly surprised by pink lemonade after a year. LOL.
Maybe I just love VERY ripe citrus.
I am dubious about this mix but it staying.
It was a pleasure knowing you.
I did a tester of Nonna's cake a few weeks ago at 2.5% and i see why people get licorice from it but to me it was more of a particular lightly spiced profile, maybe like allspice, clove, nutmeg, that kind of thing. As far as pineapple upside down cake, I think Nonna's Cake would make a nice support flavor with another straightforward cake, maybe 1% or less. Would help with darker carmelized cake and sugar notes.
Which one shot? want to avoid it, I hate floral notes.
Can I answer later if I'm not dead tomorrow like @Bronze seems to think might happen? It's boxed up, it's a weird name and I got it from Chef's if that's any help to yo. LOL I can't face digging it out right now.
A lot of chef stuff has weird names
For good reason it would seem.
This is my recipe for Pineapple Upside Down Cake:
3% Cake Batter (CAP)
3% Biscuit (IN)
2% NY Cheesecake (CAP)
2% Pineapple (TFA)
4% Vanilla Custard (CAP or TFA)
As always YMMV on percentages. The addition of cheesecake sounds weird, but somehow it works! I really like the CAP Cake Batter for that pound cake type taste. I haven't mixed this one in a while, sounds like today is the day!
BTW, I asked Drew from Bull City Flavors about his customer base. He said the vast majority of his flavorings are sold to make e-liquid. Non e-liquid sales are negligible. Of those for e-liquid, his sales tended to be 50/50 between juice vendors and DIY slugs like us. However, he said recent trends are shifting more toward DIY slugs.
How sweet is that Cap Cake Batter?
We slugs will have to do more to keep him in business.
Haven't mixed with it in a while, but I'll check it out today and report back.
So did you try it shake and vape? I thought cheesecake usually needed a long steep?
It does,to be best.
No it definitely needs a long steep! It's not good at all as shake and vape.
What is a "Jackaroo"?
If anyone cares, my review of the Gemm is up. Must say this tank has the best flavor of any I have used, even the zenith coils. Not for low wattagel vapers, unfortunately.
