just added 6 things to my bcf cart and 2 things to riversupply cart
stocking up on alcohol flavorings...debating what else to get that i don't normally use

thinking to toss all my flavors at random.org and see what it spits out and start making stuff based off of what it picks (or off of the first 3 listed or something)

Pneumonia though. I keep wondering what caused it and keep coming back to vaping. It is hurting me now that I am home, I am sure, and I have cut back after having none for 3 1/2 days. I am just at a loss trying to figure out how I got sick when I never left the house. Ideas welcome.

Ouch! Wish you all the best. My father is susceptible to pneumonia, contracts it at least a handful of times per year. And given his age and health, each time is a scare.

As for vaping, instead of inhaling into your lungs, perhaps hold the vapor in your mouth for a short duration and just exhale through the mouth or nose. You can still absorb nicotine through the walls of your mouth. Few here on ECF have adopted this method.

I had pneumonia after climbing a tree. No idea what caused it, neither were all the doctors that treated me, they were stumped. It's easy to blame the current hot topic item for it, but it's a knee-jerk reaction. Inhaling anything than air is not the best idea, especially after serious pneumonia. You can still do mouth-to-nose vaping, it's better than smoking. Nicotine is readily absorbed by mucuous membranes, it takes some practice to get used to a different method, but it's worth considering.

All the above, @DLKnives , I'm a MTN vaper as well That's how I started vaping, since I'd been a smoker of not just cigs, but pipes as well. Those you do NOT inhale! Other than, maybe, a slight draw partly in, maybe "top" lung, then, with cigs and vape, exhale through the nose.

Another thing to consider is the PG/VG ratio. For me, VG at 50% or more creates a lot of phlegm, which, overnight, could "drain" in?

So how is this Covid affecting everyone? I’m just majorly bored and always glad when I can stay busy. If the weather will someday warm up so I can get out as far as the back deck to sit in the sun it won’t be so bad. Given the crappy cold weather that ain’t gonna happen right off.

Other than masking and gloving up for groceries and such, not a lot. Retired, so fortunately no income hits. Since we normally do the big shop every two weeks, haven't had a lot of impact from the stay at home orders. Although I did have to cancel my annual trip for Dad's bday in late March. Wasn't sure if I'd be able to get back!

I mix at 65% PG 35% VG as I read somewhere that PG carries flavor or something like that. Have never known if I have the % correct but I like vaping it and my first coil lasted 9 weeks.

I vape about 70%pg and 30%vg Pg does carry flavors better plus VG is sweet.

I am like not ...... near cactuses ARE YOU NUTS. Some of them hurt when they pierce you THROUGH your hiking boots. Bushes it was, and they were lovely and I'm sure they appreciated it greatly.

I am DOING this one it looks great, and I like have all the flavors even I think. Perhaps not grapefruit but I think so in a burst of enthusiasm since I can't drink it and I love it.

I accidentally filled up my dragon fruit vape with a bit of "all mah berries' and I thought it would be gross, but it's good. "All mah berries" mix can be vaped with anything I think.

Vodka makes the most authentic flavoring I know you can use it up to 5%. I fooled with it when I was at max VG and 10% flavors and I was looking to switch things up. I noticed no ill effects other than I got sick of it, it was like Everything was (flavoring) plus vodka. I might use it in a special vodka recipe though.

Anyway I found PEG400 and the rest was blisffutly.

So yeah the Tucson trip OH MAH GOD. Getting up early and leaving on time was not a problem we even had time to go to the house. It was freaking depressing. Espeically since I had seen videos of the husband's like, ah, handiwork which will not be repeated ever, though our contractor is both nice, patient, and competent .I really liked him.

So then I spiked a fever of 104 something and I was like GAH and started downing Gatorade and like a couple Tylenol. It felt awful I am SO WEAK and pathetic. For some random unnamed virus, well I sure HOPE I don't catch COVID 19 .Heh. I took all best precautions because whatever it IS (I still believe it is COVID but WHO knows, I can't remember the last time I have been this sick.)

Anyway so then we went to the bank(s.) I say that because the freaking BoA MANAGER (they are still open, 6 feet across and we loitered in the Tucson sun before being ushered inside and like, the manager was like "OOoooh so SORRY .Even though everything this guy is wearing has his BUISINESS on it, we just can't let you do it, I am so sorry." I was like "Ma'am *my* name was first on the check I have banked with you for like 15 years I think you could take my freaking WORD." She was like, "Oh no, sorry you will have to go to HIS bank, and he will have to deposit it, and you will sign. " I was like, "Ma'am CORPORATE told us to come here should we call them? I drove 2.5 hours to get here." I was like ,"So you are telling me some other saner bank will take this flimsy like printout from your ATM."

She offered me water. I didn't accept because I was afraid I would grab it ,spit it in, and throw it in her face bur that's probably assault with deadly water these days or whatever and like, I was also, "Oh jeez she is probably like, another dumb human being doing what she says is right."

So then we waited 15 minutes outside Well's Fargo and the contractor was all chill and everything. I liked him a lot. We were only supposed to give him half up front but I said to the husband, "This guy is a legit. I think Wells Fargo giving me a cashier's check for 15K (half) is unlikely can we just let him keep it all?" We decided it was all cool like that, and the Wells Fargo did indeed let him deposit it.

I am changing banks as soon as is feasible. In any case that happened and now I am home, sore, swole up and rehydrating. I figured I would feel awful and indeed I did. I also figure I am going to live. And not do much tomorrow.

I'm fried, but alive. BY golly also I have never felt this ill in all my born days so if I catch COVID on top of "whatever this is" I don't know what will happen. I still think it's covid.

I took all best precautions because whatever it IS (I still believe it is COVID but WHO knows, I can't remember the last time I have been this sick.)

So then we waited 15 minutes outside Well's Fargo and the contractor was all chill and everything. I liked him a lot. We were only supposed to give him half up front but I said to the husband, "This guy is a legit. I think Wells Fargo giving me a cashier's check for 15K (half) is unlikely can we just let him keep it all?" We decided it was all cool like that, and the Wells Fargo did indeed let him deposit it.

I am changing banks as soon as is feasible. In any case that happened and now I am home, sore, swole up and rehydrating. I figured I would feel awful and indeed I did. I also figure I am going to live. And not do much tomorrow.

I’m glad to see you made it through the trip. It’s too bad it had to be such a hassle. I was hoping you wouldn’t go to the house. It had to be terribly depressing.
But it’s done and now you get to stay home and get to feeling better.

I tried three of my game mixes. All are flawed but vapable. The Elder Pom (basil, botanical gin, elderflower, pomelo) was vaguely floral--in a good way--and for some reason called to mind caraway. Couldn't taste the pomelo at all. The worst thing about it is that it's incredibly dry. I'm going to add marshmallow or something to it to try to fix that.

The Raspberry Lavender Spritzer (lavender, lime, raspberry, pink champagne) was very dry, too. I'm going to add some oba oba to it to see what happens. There's one flavor in it that's off, and I'm pretty sure it's the lime, the smell of which I didn't love when I was mixing. And it needs more lavender, since I can't even tell it's there.

The ME Elf Bread (apricot, honey, lembas bread, pistachio, red dates, rose) is an odd duck. It is almost savory--too much so, for me--and has a slight off note, almost certainly from the honey. As to the other ingredients, if I didn't know what went into the mix, I wouldn't have a clue what they were. If I decide to play with it, I'll dump the honey, add some sweetener, and maybe get rid of the pistachio. And up the rose.

I also sampled the two açaís, @FranC. I didn't think the PUR was vile, but it is very sweet and tastes like artificial grape. The TFA is less sweet, less fake tasting (though still reminiscent of grape soda), and more complex. There's more depth to it and a slight spicy note that I like. I get no tartness from either of them.

All in all, I'm pleased. No successes but no complete failures, either. Not bad.

If you don't have COVID-19, you have the worst luck ever. But I bet you do, regardless of your test results.

Not at all surprised your fever spiked. You're not even really on the mend yet, and that trip was a hell of an ordeal, on a few levels. I hope you don't have to do anything else for a few days.
