@hittman and @Sugar_and_Spice I wonder if some Pom mixed into the cran-apple just might "fix" it. I am still enjoying the recipe I posted but the Fuji is strong and the mix is more apple than cranberry though I do taste both. I am also going to try mixing Fuji and INW Two Apples to see what happens. You never know what might make magic!

Pam, Pom may well offset the Fuji depending on what % were used initially.
I think Fuji and INW 2 Apples mixed together would be great, so really easy on both.....

Also, been meaning to ask if you have done any mixes with Nectarin? I love a good peach flavor and it seem TPA is about the only one that has a decent one. I have yet to try that one. The flavorah got terrible reviews.
I was making more of my fav peach juice last night and wondered if I could somehow improve on it. I have a very simple recipe for mine. I use 6 different peaches all at 2% each. Takes from about 3 weeks to 6 weeks to steep but it is worth the wait to me. Luckily I still have enough from last 240ml bottle to make it through.....lol

:)

I have a sample bottle steeping right now with the following

10% TFA cranberry
4% Fuji
2% two apples
1% FE lemon
1% inw cactus

I seriously suggest starting FA Fuji @ .5-1%, especially in mixes. Fuji just keeps getting stronger. It is a great flavor taste wise but wants to be boss......lol

I like strong flavors and am still playing with the Fuji so am not sure where I will land. I was thinking of trying 2% Fuji and 1.5% INW Two Apples. That might be too high on both, esp. if I want to highlight the cranberry. I suspect that is the problem that some are having with Fuji drowning out the cranberry. Maybe I will try going lower on both and keeping the cranberry at 7% and see how that turns out. If I want more apple, I can always add it later. Thanks!

The other day I was surfing sites looking for suggested percentages and found some people who were referring to FA as Flavor Apprentice, but using FA in their percentage lists. I've always abbreviated The Flavor Apprentice as TFA and FA for Flavourart. There's quite a difference in mix strengths between the two. Anyone seen that? If you're not paying attention the percentages you pick up from some sites could ruin a mix. FA is usually pretty highly concentrated compared to most.

Yes, and I think NR started that stuff. I had ordered flavors from them from TPA and the bottles are marked as Fa. Talk about confusing......don't know who really started this but I think it was totally unnecessary......and not funny in the least.

One more point FA(FlavourArt) with all caps and Fa(lowercase a) is what is being passed around as TFA. Kinda sneaky if you ask me....

@Sugar_and_Spice - I don't have any nectarine flavors. I do have several peach flavors but haven't played with them much yet. I am a peach kind of girl, being born and raised in peach country. Nectarines are considered an inferior cousin in peachland. :D

FLV Raisin Rum 3 drops (30 ml)
    TFA Vanilla Bourbon 1%
    TFA Cheesecake/graham 2%
    TFA Graham Clear 1%
    HA Ry3 5%

This is very tasty though it was too sweet for me. My fix was successful however.:)

I used 1% in the Smokey Amber Plum and it's forward. In the Pornegranate it took 2% to make it noticeable.

I have raisin rum and mixed it up a while ago. Still not sure what to do with it. Maybe I will follow your cheesecake mix, just leave out the HA as I don't have that flavor.

The fix for me was 1.5% plain Cheesecake. Brought the sweet down to a reasonable level. The Raisin Rum is powerful stuff. Next mix I will use only 2 drops in 30ml.

Oh,if you are dropping the HA then you should up the Cheesecake graham to 5% and The Graham Clear to 2%

I tweaked my back yesterday and haven't felt like doing much of anything today. I am feeding the kids hot dogs for dinner and made a salad for Brit and me. What I really need is a nap.

If I feel like it tomorrow, I want to try the recipe I have come up with for Iced Tea with Fuji and Ginger and a remix on the Cran-Apple. *fingers crossed*
