Morning all.

Thunderstorms possible today and really looking forward to some rain but not holding my breath.... scattered only and it nearly always misses us. It been so dry and hot here as usual.

Nasty fire here last week....7000 people evacuated and 6000 hectares burnt....view from our terrace!! Luckily that's further away than it looks. It's under control now but still bits burning here and there. Lost some really rare species including a tortoise which is only found wild here

That is terrible!! My friends and family are also having a bad go with wildfires in MN. How tragic to lose any species, especially a rare one, and most especially a tortoise!
Here's one positive.. next spring/summer go hunting for mushrooms in the burn area, and I think you will find a plethora of shrooms. At least that has been my experience.

Plans are to work, tend to the garden and most likely harvest our peaches!! and then tonight it's back to the grindstone of study. But before I progress any further, I need to go back over everything I've gone over so far and practice.

I go to my cornea specialist for a checkup today. I'm also supposed to get a phone call from the anesthesiologist with last minute instructions.

Well, I find myself babysitting the 10yr old today. That's actually not much of a problem because he's great at amusing himself.

So it's my plan to continue working on recipes. I need to write a new ice cream and see what else I can find.

have been to the dentist and chiropractor, is on a good day, the training went great.
I ran out of nic this weekend, that is, what was in the fridge, stopped at the local store and bought myself a 260ml, so then I have until well into next year. There's a liter in the freezer for bad times.
The other thing I run out of is 18650 batteries, 3500mAh. With a little luck, they will get someone in next week.

Then came these two today ....

I vape a wide variety of flavors these days. Always careful not to use one flavor too much. Years ago my variety was much less and nothing was known about burnout. I lost a few flavors. Lately, I got some back and others that are lost forever.
