Pineapple basil is delicious but the texture for me is unpleasant. I always had to dry the leaves and crush them. Lovely with a fresh fruit yogurt. Pretty hardy and easy to grow, also a the leaves are variegated and very attractive.

Ordered a few from BCF this morning and it has already shipped. Love BF service.

VTA sugarloaf pineapple
VTA persian lime
3 50ml plastic beakers, love my glass beakers but hear the plastic hangs on to less juice

Or lettuce leaf basil on a BLT yummmm. I’m going to remake the jasmine I tested yesterday using y’alls suggestions. We’ll see in two weeks. I tried it again this morning, the spicy of the fig has laid down a bit and seems to have made the floral pop some. Interesting to see how the flavors morph over time

Did you tell me I should get Mango?Think it was Kiwi and I got that. @Letitia
I don't use mango much Fran and recommend FA and RF(SC) kiwi often, pretty sure it had to be kiwi. FA for beautiful tart notes, RF for a softer kiwi with a lovely floral exhale. I mixed an experiment using both kiwi and dragon fruit, my suspicions were correct...using both together is overkill. Either or for me.

I think there are so many potential flavors for natural selective breeding to bring forward in basil that depending on people's taste they could probably say it tastes like anything.
Then leave that to a flavor lab chemist to decide which one should be forward.

Lettuce leaf basil is so good in anything with chicken stock. I almost always use tortellini with chicken stock. After I turn off the heat I add nappa cabbage, fresh parsley, and lettuce leaf basil or butter lettuce to the pot.

Sigh.......due to certain comments^^^^^^^ Basil is back on the wishlist.

Hoping Pam has an idea for that cucumber/basil/lime/gin mix. @PJReid

I don't have any cucumber - guess it will go on my next order. ;) Cocktail e-liquids seem to be my thing. PJ's Dive Bar will be ready for the black market. LOL

This is a strange mix. Or maybe it's me that's strange:) The fruit hasn't made a come-back yet but the gin has. I'm back to the pine tree ATM

If you are referring to the Gin Breeze, I have some well steeped that I will try out today and see what it is like now, for me. Now, I hope I remember to let you know. LOL

It's the FA Kiwi I got in 30ml last order.
