I did a shake and vape on the HC at 6% and mixed it with peg400. It was harsh and overwhelming in the enthion. The RP was pretty strong too. I’m going to put them away for a week after diluting them some with vg. I probably should have just used vg to begin with since it’s what I’m used to. I might go ahead and mix two more with vg to compare.
I haven't used the PEG400 so no ideas here. I always waited a day or two before trying the HC. I mix mine in 50/50 pg/vg, so if you are using max vg then maybe a week to steep is good.

Another great resource, for anyone who still enjoys reading, is the book titled "The Flavor Bible: The Essential Guide to Culinary Creativity, Based on the Wisdom of America's Most Imaginative Chefs." It is a huge (nearly 1,000 page) tome; but, for those who have the patience to spend some time with it, it can be revolutionary. It can be found in hardcover, paperback, and digital media.

    The WF Hazelnut and Cream, I do @ 6% and vape it the next day. You could try out a tester because I have known some people to vape it as soon as its mixed. It will continue to develop as you vape it and stays steady for several weeks. At about 6 weeks or so its should be fully steeped and becomes a good flavor to mix with other ingredients if you want. Me I just keep vaping its goodness.

    Can you tell I love this flavor?


    I also use the WF roasted pecan, it does have cream in it @ 5% and needs maybe a week to taste good.

    Did you use 100% PEG? That was harsh to me.

    @Sugar_and_Spice I have a new equation for you. I have mixed 2 30ml bottles of HA Italian Cream at 1.5% this time. When it comes time to put it in a recipe do I do it the same way? (10ml plus .02%)
    Don't see why not.

    I don't remember reading how the last one turned out for you? Did you post about it?

    You use peg400 in place of VG? I use PEG in place of PG and still use VG

    I've been playing with this for awhile and think I'm done.

    Cereal Bites Cheesecake
    HA Italian Cream 1.5%
    Cap Cereal 27 1.5%
    INW Biscuit .75%
    Cap NY Cheesecake 2.5%
    FA Pom 2%
    INW Rhubarb 1%

    Due to the length of steeping and the fruit fade I'm not adding the fruit to it til much later.

    I normally use 30pg/70vg but have been looking for reasons to try the peg.

    If you want, I can check the numbers for you, Just give me what % of each ingredient you want the final recipe to be and what size bottle.

    OK.I have steeping 2 30ml bottles of HA Italian Cream mixed at 1.5%. When this is steeped I'll want to use it as 1.5% in 30ml mixes.
