Well my sb tang cheesecake is too sb forward for my taste. I'm going to split the mix and let one meld longer and add an add more orange notes to the other. I have an orange base already steeping so will use some of that. I dislike tweaking juices, prefer to just tweak the recipe and mix again.
I prefer to do that too.

I'm still vaping my old version Strawberry Cheesecake. Newest bottle mixed in March. I'm kinda surprised on this because I'm not so big on strawberry anymore.

At this rate I'll have to dig the recipe out soon and mix more. Not a bad thing.........

@NolaMel I'm going to mix 30ml of this to play with. Will pull off a few mls and try adding various flavors like nuts, berries, and Horchata when I get it. All %.
    HS italian cream 1.25
    FE sweet rice 4
    INW vanilla shisha .75
    VTA white chocolate 3
Thinking of trying another version using TFA vanilla swirl and WF tahitian vanilla cream instead of Italian cream and vanilla shisha. May wait until I get the vanilla gelato for the v2.
That’s looking good! I was reading reviews on sweet rice... some people said they noted a big fade (going from rice to just starch). I don’t have it in front of me, but it seems like it coincided with the steep time for creams. Also, I found a recipe on atf that added a tiny bit of lemon zest to the two. Also saw a sweet rice and plum (elr??). I’ll check my favorites tomorrow and see if I can find it :?:.

Zest makes sense, I've eaten rice pudding with fruits and added dried berries to cooked rice.

I thought so too. It was only 0.25%, so really just a touch. I’m not big on lemon, and for reasons that escape me, I settled on lemon sicily for my “one”. If it’s like every other “only bottle of this flavor I’m going to buy “, I’ll take recommendations for other brands/types . Apparently those little bottles get lonely and bored and require copious numbers of friends. I already need a second case, and they’re all double bunked! I’m ignoring the ziplocks of untried bottles as it is

FE lemon is a good all around lemon. I use it over the others because I like the flavor and it doesn't fade as fast or severely as other brands.

Lemon Sicily is a pretty good lemon for zest. FA makes a Lemon Zest but it isn't carried in the US. Not sure why on the one. Chefs Flavours carries it so I will pick up a bottle on my next order from them. I think it would be useful in many recipes that I make. INW Lemon Shisha is another one I don't have but will pick up. It supposedly has more zest than most of the others.

If Sweet Rice fades, it might not matter if the lemon you use fades as well. Those kinds of recipes I only make in small quantities anyway.

@lupinehorror has been using lemon shisha here lately. Maybe be can entice him to give some insight about the flavor.
    @Letitia
yup...been on a bit of a shisha trip of late. the inawera lemon shisha is very nice. bit cotton candy but still with that nice zing (you can see why i'm not a wine critic...wheelbarrows of autumn leaves with a spike of hogweed etc).
i think it'll also be good as a standalone but i haven't tried it, yet.
other shishas that i enjoy are strawberry and coconut. haven't been much help have i...

Mine are 3mm. I checked it with my coil rod before installing it. It says 3mm on the case too. One thing that was neat was when installed on the Zeus, the coil naturally pointed at the wicking wells.

They are rolled backwards from what my coiler does. That's what got me to get the dual instead of the single. But I think the dual works out better since I like big coils.

OK. Dripper in use on the tea I found a little sweet earlier. In the RDA the mix is stronger and twice as sweet........... Settles the thought that mixes are less sweet in drippers.

I first suggested the flavors you can't taste on a dripper but didn't guarantee they wouldn't be sweeter too.
A lot of those flavors you can't taste are the ones I can't mix strong enough to taste except in a dripper or modern tanks.

The only flavors I can't taste at all are apple and caramel (I think there's another also can't think of). I haven't been able to taste these in a vape since I first started 8+ years ago. I have tried drippers in the past in an effort to taste these flavors and it didn't work. All I got was the sweetness from the flavors with no other taste.

It seems like flavor fade is being mentioned more and more. Lemon has always been a fader but now I've found FA Pom to fade and now Sweet Rice. I'm sure there are others out there.

I have no plans on another ECX order but I'm going to try the Rice Base from BCF.

It does help sweets. I was wondering about the zest notes in the lemon shisha.
