Lucky you, Bronze.:) You need a break. I, on the other hand, haven't done a whole lot lately so I'm happy I got the 2 teas mixed today. I do have some mixes to try that I've been putting off cause I've been stuck on my NET mixes.
At least you got it out of the way early.

I would but my tastes require a base to taste the best. We are all different. Also, yes it gives depth and body to a mix . This is just my personal opinion.
I appreciate you taking time to explain the “why”. Since most of my advs are your recipes, what works for you most often works for me. Do you use flavors other than bakery as bases? Or, are they good for any type recipe?

I should add that a lot of folks love straight fruit mixes, I'm not one of them. While they taste good I have no interest in vaping just fruit. I really need a base with fruits, be it a NET or a tea or something else.
I thought it was just me, or my poor recipe creating skills. Fruits only always come out a little flat to me, even if I layer with a blend.

FranC, I realize you already mixed those but just wanted to mention JF biscuit (supposed to better than the others) also FA cookie but everyone knows that. (I stayed up till midnight learning about cookies and biscuits) Graham cracker is just too bland on it's own (to me) but I like to use it with other bakery flavors.
I also learned I've been mixing cookie way too strong! I thought it just needed to steep longer (had an off flavor) I'll dilute it before I forget (seems I do that a lot lately)
Has anyone tried WF almond cookie? Curious how it would work with fruits.

I agree. Actually, I add bakeries to peach for the opposite reason... it's too much and needs to be "flattened out".
I'm going to be trying creams too.

I have used a NET for my base when mixing that sort of recipe. Otherwise, possible bases are biscuits, cereals, cookies, shortbreads, Croissants, Cannoli shell, etc etc. Sometimes you will want to taste the base as part of your recipe and sometimes you just want it there to create base. Depending on the recipe chocolate could be used as a base. Certain boozy recipes use the booze to create base even though it's the top taste. Kinda hard to explain and just my opinion

I can't say that fruits come out flat to me but I just can't vape fruit solo no matter how good it is. I do however mix with fruits a lot.

Newer vapers require a lot of flavor in their mixers. When you been vaping as long as me less is more is the rule almost always.

Have you tried cactus at low % with your fruits? It can add juiciness to your fruits and brighten up a bland mix.

I'm undecided so would you kind folks pick for me? Should I try my Strawberry Biscotto or my Rhuberry Cannoli? I'll be back in 20 minutes to see if I have any picks.

Cannoli! I bought some rhubarb and haven't used it yet. That sounds good!

    This is so true.

It's interesting, when I bought retail juices I never ever purchased anything with any kind of fruit in it. Since I have started DIY though I have been toying around with all kinds of fruits and I am finding them rather enjoyable in a "change of pace" aspect.

I really wish I got into DIY years ago. It's really made vaping fun and enjoyable again. I love following this thread.

Fruit vapes are a change of pace for me too. Not particularly satisfying over the long run but they do break up the monotony of a boring rotation.
