Obviously this jelly is branded as having a reusable jar (I didn’t know that until just now). They are sturdy and I love them. I may go for a set of eight just to see my son rolling his eyes more. Not the best jelly but I’m buying them for the jars. My brand of jelly called Bama Jelly was hard to find at the beginning of the pandemic so I bought this kind.

FYI: Mason Jars with handles made for drinking are available at many places . . . Matter of fact I had a full set of a dozen origianal mason jars for cold drinks . . . Today I see/find them all the time at Second Hand / Thrift stores even Dollar Stores, Amazon, Targets and Walmart too . . . The best ones and least expensive that I found with a quick "Google" search seem to be:

Acopa Rustic Charm 16 oz. Customizable Drinking Jar / Mason Jar with Handle - 12/Case

You may found more and even better prices when Ya' have time to do a search . . . Hopefully this information is helpful, especially to have a case sent to your Son as a present (Please post picture of his expression when he opens box) . . . ;)

I put some of my ic that has dark chocolate, wafer and pb in an rta for testing.

The pb is there for the peanut taste. Wafer is a tad weak, will be adding a drop more.

The chocolate is there but not front and center. I want it to be like the chocolate they have on a Nutty Buddy.

The ic base is still coming through very nicely.

So far, I'm happy and am on the right path with this. More tweaking, but not much, is in order.

 That’s funny and my son would laugh.

I have found thrift store pricing inflated on glassware. And I’m getting them free with the purchase of the jelly.

Speaking of free...yesterday when I did my taxes I thought I had to upgrade from the free tax online software to deluxe which would have cost me $100 for federal and state. Once I figured out I didn’t need the deluxe version, I then realized the program won’t allow you to downgrade back to free. 30 minute wait time on customer service plus hearing this lady jibber jabber on about nothingness, I was finally back to the free version. Saved $100 and I’d do it again if I had to. :D I like free.

I will be doing one also. Similar but not with Dark Chocolate.

@NolaMel, I am not so sure about adding caramel/butterscotch to the Nutty Buddy I have going. My concern is that they might jumble things up taste wise. I will try but with a light touch. I want to finish this one up first. Also want to try this one with different chocolates like MF dark chocolate, WF choc chunks, and some other ones I have.

I have other ideas for the SSA ice creams, sundaes. There are tons of sundae recipes on foodie sites. From what I've looked at, people get pretty darn creative with adding fruits, different types of nuts, toppings and "other".

Also, a cake and ice cream mix would be good. Who hasn't eaten cake and ice cream together?

    :)

Wow that is a lot of flavors. I hope you like your mix.
I was trying to recreate an actual wedding cake I tasted years ago, a baker in Loudonville made it. I actually recreated it and is now one of my fav dessert flavors :) Not too sweet but rich and satisfying.

I ordered this last time too. Let me know what you use it in please.
It’s 100% a sft flavor. To sum up my research on it.... no one seems to be able to agree on what it tastes like, but most everyone thinks it’s yum. I have no illusions of figuring it out, my taste buds aren’t that smart lol.

I was thinking the candy flavor not upfront. Irl, I get a caramely vibe from the cone, like caramelized brown sugar in a pizelle when it’s fresh of the press. I’m not sold on pb as the nut. I don’t want pb, just roasted nuts. I’m going to explore notes on mixed nuts, and cashew to see if either of those sound like possibilities. Unless you promise me pb doesn’t taste like pb in this case . Then I’ll just roll with your directions

I have VT peanut that might fit what you're looking for. I never did a sft on it but have used it in recipes with peanut butter to boost the peanut flavor.

On my last order from sourcemore they stated that your bank may charge a small fee for the transaction.
yeah except it wasn't my bank, it was sourcemore

Has any one ever tried Gremberry Solo, Vanilla Overload or Very Cherry Vanilla?
had to go find it, I didn't write it in my notes but I thought is was more like a frosting....
being lazy and well not sure what I want to vape on
so did a sft on gremlins vanilla overload at 10%
    ....................
so far off the shake it's pretty good....more of a vanilla frosting flavor...nice rich creamy taste, and very sweet, not overly sweet but sweeter than I like....and thankfully it doesn't have that off taste that a lot of vanilla's have that kind of flowery/perfume/alcohol taste....it really does taste like I was just eating frosting
so well if anyone needs a good vanilla frosting for their diy I'd say grab this and try it :D
will probably go lower on the % next time if I do another sft on this...

STOP buying flavors (until I can catch up with your stash )
No VTA, but I have FA peanuts, or WF honey roasted peanuts. I’ll try and compare notes on all the nuts tonight if all is quiet here.
I don’t know how y’all create recipes so fast. It takes me at least a couple weeks to get what’s in my head translated to my satisfaction into a recipe. Which is probably why I mix y’alls more often. Much quicker

Stop buying flavors? Isn't it a race to the bottom of the rabbit hole? Unfortunately there's someone down there digging while we are trying to get to the bottom. As soon as I think I'm good then I find a recipe I want to try and am missing one special ingredient that isn't easy to sub for. Also, manufacturers keep coming out with new flavors right and left.

It's just a matter of time before that list grows even if you don't want it to.
I won’t say that will never happen but I will say it’s extremely unlikely. Even Chef’s didn’t tempt me.
