Regarding the blog, how about a single person takes charge of one of the smaller sections (nonalcoholic beverages, cereal, fruits, liquor, mint, miscellaneous, tobacco, tips and tricks in the appendix). Then the huge candy/dessert/bakery section can be portioned out later.

    So, who wants what?

    Somewhere between here and there
I have bottles to clean but they're plastic that I don't use much. I got them out for the new fA flavors. Now I'm in no hurry to clean them but I have to. UGH

After past troubles, I clean my plastic bottles once and reuse. After that they go in the garage. I’ve had too many that I’ve reused too many times that developed a crack and dumped liquid down my hand when trying to fill a tank.

I’m glad to help but don’t know exactly what to do. I don’t know if it’s too much trouble to give me directions or not.

Most that I used were new. I know all about the cracks. I keep a close eye out.

What if one person, not sayin' who, cuz I'm not naming names, but I might know someone who already started at the bottom of the "huge candy/dessert/bakery section"???

That person told me they figured no one else would start at the back and work forward. Talk about a Rebel, some people. o_O :D

@hittman and others who want to help me repair the blog, ECF is not working properly for me right now, and I'm not sure if this will even post. But, in case it does, what I'd do is go to the section I want to fix--say, FRUIT/VEGETABLE/FLORAL--and select, copy, and paste it into a document, or an open PM to me in another tab, or some such. Then I'd check to see if the link for the first recipe listed--Apogee Clone, in this instance--was working. If it wasn't, I'd search for the recipe here, click on the appropriate post in the search results, then right-click on the permalink (the number preceded by a pound sign at the bottom right of the post in my browser, though it may be elsewhere in yours), click on "copy link," and then paste it after the entry for the recipe in the copy of the section I had made. Then I'd do the same for the next entry, and the next, and so on. I don't know if this is the easiest way to go about it, but it's what I've started doing.

When ECF decides it wants to work for me again, I'm going to get started on the big desserts etc. section, leaving the shorter sections to you guys. Just let me/everyone know which section you're taking on, so there's no duplication of work. Once we know how many people are going to work on this, I think I'll move this discussion to a group PM, so we don't clog this place up anymore.

Okay. It's really annoying trying to post with ECF acting up on me, but this is a start. Now I click "post reply" and cross my fingers.

Ha, I figured the problem with ECF was mine alone, since I've been feeling as though I somehow annoyed the tech gods recently, what with the blog problems and my receiver and keyboard deciding to give up the ghost at the same time.

If you want to start at the end of the desserts section, that's fine by me, @ShowMeTwice, but I think others who want to help should each take on one of the smaller sections, as I just suggested. When they're done, we'll have to see where we are in the big section and then portion it out more specifically to avoid overlapping our work.

Those who want to help should PM me so I can set up a group conversation.

It looks like SMT has taken the dessert section ??

    Ok.

Here is what I started doing earlier...

    1) Check each recipe link to see if the link works.

    2) If it does, I am copying the BB Code Link Snippet, recipe name, author and pasting it into a text file.

You will need the Recipe Name, Author and BB Code Link Snippet to make your fixes.

    3) If the link doesn't work, then I go 1 or 2 pages ahead of the page the wrong link lands me on. Find the recipe and copy the BB Code Link Snippet, recipe name and author and pasting it into a text file.

    4) The data from my text file could then be PM'ed to you per the group convo you setup.

I figured the best, and most thorough, way to do this was to grab the info from every recipe, link working or not, and plop it into a text file. Then you would have a very accurate and complete backup.

    Question ? ? ?

Before I go any further. Which link should we be copying???

    Top link?

    BB Code Link Snippet?

    HTML Link Code?

BTW, right clicks, or any of that other Windows stuff, is not an option on my Mac's.
