    Somewhere between here and there
Looks like we’re going to shop a flower sale the wife wants to check out and I’m going to pick up a couple things for around the house we need. I have a feeling that I won’t get away with going to just one store but she’s in a good mood so I won’t complain.

Hope she hangs onto that good mood.

    Good afternoon EveryOne :)

Last night Her and I decided to go watch the sunrise over Lake Michigan in the morning. DD2 and her wife took care of the morning chores for us.

As usual, I woke-up raring to go and bouncin' off the walls. Got to the kitchen, reached for a coffee mug, was promptly told "absolutely not...... you do not need any!!!" I had a glass of Tropicana orange juice instead (lotsa natural energy in OJ ).

    Anyhow, this mornings Sunrise.............

    SFT's?

    I always do either 5ml or 10ml SFT's and I start low. If it's a fruit, 0.5% - 1.5%. For bakery flavors, like a cookie 1% - 2%.
Basically, that's me. I never look to see what others do SFT's at. What might work for others, rarely works for me.

For me, the whole point in doing SFT's has always been, learning the flavor and what it has to offer.

These days the only flavors I do SFT's for are ones that I have zero clue what to expect. Some good examples: WF Yangmei Berry, VTA Apollo Feijoa and INW Marula. Those are not common fruits in many parts of the world.

With other flavors, like a new pineapple for example, I'll take one of my bases (vanilla/cream or a bakery mix) and add 0.5% - 1.5% of the new flavor. That's plenty for me to learn and write notes for a new flavor.

For me, it all depends what company's flavor I'm SFT'ing. With Medicine Flower (MF) flavors 1 or 2 drops max. With the ultra-concentrates I don't use much at all.

Generally, I SFT a flavor pretty much the same as I would use it in a mix. I've never gone beyond 2% with any SFT.

Every person does SFT's differently.

77° and sunny with a nice breeze out of the SW.

Just sittin' on the porch enjoying the day. Added some SSA Ripe Pineapple, FLV Ripe Mango and FA Blood Orange to my water. It's a nice tropical blend, perfect for the weather.

In keeping with the tropical theme, I'm vapin' my mango cake.

    Mango Cake

    FW Vanilla Cupcake 2.5%
    FW Creamy Sponge Cake 1.5%
    WF Vanilla Cream Extra 1.5%
    FLV Cream 1%
    FLV Sweet Mango 1%
    FLV Ripe Mango 0.5%
    WF Island Mango 0.5%

Suggested steep = 4 weeks / bakery and creams dictate the time. As always, YMMV.

I've mentioned the recipe before but it isn't in @Zazie's blog yet. And that's probably because I didn't ask for it to be. Or I forgot to ask.
Zaz can you add it please? TIA
