I always like new videos!

You don't have to give it a haircut, if you wick it just like cotton with a bit more density it will outperform any wicking material.Ya have to give it a haircut lol, the gaps at the top, seems to be a lot of work to get it right, again I'm sure if you have that kind of patience it's great, I may even try it, but just reading through this post that there are many variables that need to be just right for it to work

so I figured out my leaking issues with my sub tanks and it was never the rayon at all it just coincided with when I started to use the rayon. the o-rings on the bottom of my rba deck(s) have become flat. and therefore allow juice to seep down through especially when im moving around. kind of frustrating because kanger wont even respond as to where I can get new ones. I have looked all over and got nothing. they are tiny little thin chincy o-rings and after screwing and unscrewing they flattened out. I hear that it's because I screw them down to tight but if I dont turn them down all the way when I take it apart to fill the rba stays in the tank stuck to the chimney. I kn ow this much I will never buy another kanger product. I'll go back to smoking first. im really frustrated because kanger wont respond about where to get the orings their only response was that it's user error for tightening to much guess I'll simply use pre-built coils until my Cthulhu comes in today. sorry for the rant just wanted to clear this up. apparently this doesn't happen with the standard rba's as they have better orings even though they look the same the ones on the rba plus are cheaper and less rubbery therefore dont expand when you take them out. maybe I fiddle with them to much but thats kind of the point of rba's isn't it?
I have a Q, because rayon is so tight in the coil, is there a particular method you use to avoid wrecking the coil when taking the wick out?
I usually don't have a problem but sometimes it's happenedbut usually not 'cause it reduces by the time I yank it.
Cut it off before pulling it out![]()

The tail thinning improves longevity and increases wicking speed a bit, it's not necessary.
Unfortunately, I'm not too knowledgeable on that...I recorded already and it's far less technical than many would like. Really, just my opinion on the difference in the vape between them.@Rayonati Sloth .. New video nice .. please cover the differences of heat flux of SS and Kanthal .. looking forward to learning![]()
Are you going to upload it here? I don't want to miss it!Unfortunately, I'm not too knowledgeable on that...I recorded already and it's far less technical than many would like. Really, just my opinion on the difference in the vape between them.
I went a bit overboard on the rayon aspect in the vidhad too much fun with it...
Vid'll be up in a day or 2...editting will take a bit, and internet's slow in my neck of the woods![]()

must be painfull
I have the spare tank o rings but it's the little tiny o ring on the bottom of the rba deck that creates a seal between the rba and tank. looks like it would be easier to just order a new rba for $5 but I'll probably just retire them when my velocity deck atty's come in today
That's a good idea. I have a half-dozen or so old OCC coils laying in a drawer. I went and checked the little o-ring on those against the one on my RBA deck and they look the same to me. I think that should work, but it sounds like Phil has washed his hands of the Subtanks...for now anyway. Still, it might come in handy to remember in the future.Do you have an old or new stock coil that you could take the oring off of?

You could try an auto parts supply... They usually have hundreds of o rings... Geez not trying to be negative....GAG....Okie dokie. If it seems too much work for you, use your cotton. I'll keep using rayon. Your seeming negative comments do not persuade me to do otherwise. I will not attempt to dissuade you from using any wick material you choose using. Have a good one.
