Those Bulgarian balls still running strong lol.

Unflavored 97.5% VG at 5mg :D.

Some guy in my local vape shop the other day was going on and on about the difference in cottons, and his progression from normal cotton to cotton bacon to native wicks to celtic cotton which is "the best" cotton

yeah, um...yeah right

It may well be the best cotton. But it's still merely cotton. :)

Oh yeah, you crossed over to bottom feeders... I'm still tanking, rocking the fev v3 with glass kit... Drilled to 3mm . 2.5mm parallel 28g Kanthal at 40w. Looking at trying a couple new tanks.

So I'm getting a few clones from fasttech to try. Prefer at least 4ml, 24mm max, and single coil or the option for it, but wouldn't mind one dual coil only. I have a Fev and a bachelor right now.

In the cart at FT is an avocado 24, Limitless 24, vanilla style aromamizer with new deck, A Merlin, and a Taifun Gt III.

Any comments, I'm kinda trying to decide between the merlin and the Gt 3 right now. Leaning toward the Tiafun. For more capacity, quiter air, and more juice flow for VG in the winter. Merlin is nice and highly regarded with a little more air flow but possibly louder. 4ml is also little short for adv.

May just get the avocado 24 instead of Limitless 24 cause it's got the single coil option. Or both..

Liked the Goon RTA quite a bit, and + it holds 5ml supposedly. Or The Azeroth with the new clamp style posts is looking good.

I also liked the digiflavor Siren or Fuji single coil, Fuji has a better chamber, but both pricey. The Mobula on focal looks really nice. And the Blitz Spark is cool, but the drip tip is huge. (cheaper on focal)
.

I couldn't see the tail end of my Avocado 24 soon enough, a sloppy, loose (press fit) AFC cap and PiTA to wick compared to the Limitless Plus. The off center posts drove my OCD around the bend and it whistles bad with that single coil block in place. YMMV but I piffed mine to a buddy a very short time after I got it.

The Limitless Plus is 10x better IMHO, easier to wick, fill and maintain with better airflow. You don't have to take the center post off the deck to get the tank apart like you do with the Avo24. The only problem with the Limitless Plus was the scummy thing iJoy pulled by changing the top cap and providing 510 adapter instead. It makes the L+ look like something you cobbled together from parts. There are a coupe of DT's on FT that fit the opening in the top cap.

The L+ drinks juice like it's free so be prepared.

The Merlin is a great RTA but can seep as the base is press fit on those. Some do not but quite a few do, you can press the base tighter with a pair of sockets and a hammer or vise which seems to solve the issue. I have 2 Merlins that I use as daily drivers, great flavor and dead simple to build.

Check over in the Taifun thread as there are some issues with the various GTIII's.
Taifun GT Discusion!

I am talking about fasttech clones if available.

On the avocado 24, whistling is not what I want for sure. I'm tired of the noisy air intakes. Thanks for a heads up.. Maybe a bottom air avo when it's cloned.

Yeah I heard that about the merlin and I have that weeping issue with my bachelor right now, super annoying... I dropped it once and the tank popped off. I think that's when it started. I need to try to press the chamber in tighter maybe like you were saying..

I've been over to the Gt thread recently. I had been passing it up, but looked at the 3 yesterday, and though I don't really care for the look yet, it seems it would serve me well.

My Av24 has a tight cap, doesn't whistle, and I find it a pleasure to wick. Maybe you got a lemon, production variance.

(I am still interested in trying the Limitless plus, maybe a black Friday buy)
It could have been a bad batch or run.
I tried two, the one I ordered compared to one in a local B&M, which had the same issues.

Authentic? Or which clone did you get? Thanks.

The FT Avo24 clones seem to have a two piece top cap, the authentic ones don't (press fit). So the clone caps could be adjusted for looseness and whistle if needed.
