ZOMG.

Rossum turned me on to KGD and now I have a 200 year supply of that.
You turned me on to CC and now I've got a 500 year supply of that.

If we find something even better and a zombie apocalypse comes along I'm opening a salon

It's essentially the same jake... Your still set.

Graham CCr is the cheapest and easiest to acquire rayon in quantity. For many its great and they notice no difference really. But if your a rayon connoisseur you can tell the difference.

Or If you make a habit of chewing on it. Lol ... The medi/pharma has a better neutral flavor. Brian described the Sally's fiber tasting like paper and the rayon balls were a neutral flavor. So a slight difference. But Sally's still works as prescribed. Any issue one may have with it can be rinsed/ boiled out if necessary.

However, Most flavor complaints are due to too much wick or too little wick. If you get it just right you really can hardly tell a difference. It's only when it's too tight that you can taste the wick. At that point you just have too much anyway and should try again.

I think I'll just stick with Sally for now. Call me the lazy vaper but I've never done the whole boiling cotton and unless the cc is really bad then I won't be boiling it either.

I think I'll go rework my origen v2 now :)

I noticed that a couple of times initially but not lately.
May try rinsing it next time just to check.

LOL, appreciate it.
Still watching the basis and commercials on alpaca hair futures for a short squeeze just in case...

I've had a 3D clone for a couple months now, I prefer microcoils in the .6-.8 range and with cotton it couldn't wick quick enough (I tend to chain vape). I've had the rayon in there for about 2 weeks (.8) finally got a dry hit today, completely my fault wasn't paying attention and ran it dry. I'm running it on my Cana at 22 watts.

My Reo's don't have to be rewicked anywhere near as often, which is so nice. It never failed, the wick would always start to taste off at work when I was too busy to change it.

If anyone wants a bag of tencel please let me know (it's free), I tried it before the CC and I didn't like it. I am moving in three weeks and it's not coming with me.

Driving in NW AZ today on the road to Vegas and see a billboard for

Alpaca Imports of Boulder City NV Worlds Largest Alpaca Store

Alpaca Imports of Boulder City Nevada

I think Tbev should take a drive down there and test it for us.

I heard a rumor it is where he is hawking his new line of wicking material "Vapaca".

I live just north of Summerlin, but will make the drive!
I would to buddy, there's actually a friend of ours here who's family owns an alpaca farm. It was a joke back in the day, life a thousand posts ago, that alpaca fur wicks were going to be the hot ticket, turns out, not so much... Lol!
Nice to know who's really ready to go all in for the sake of new discoveries!

Been using rayon for about 2 weeks now and I do like it. However im still unsure if i should be making wicks denser or thinner in relation to cotton.

Am I correct to believe that rayon will wick slower with the more you have packed into your coil?

Seems like the less I use, the faster it wicks. However, the more I use the juice capacity my dripper holds turns from like 5-6 hits to 10 hits before I have to drip again.

Any of you guys feel the same?

Sometimes, I don't know why I even bother.
w h a t d i d I j u s t r e a d?

Someone's reply to Rayon:
"I mean we're heating it up to extremely high temperatures and Rayon unlike cotton can be set on fire and continue to burn to nothing unlike cotton. .From my understanding Rayon after some use or dry burning (whether on purpose or accident) starts to breakdown and basically disintegrate and wouldn't the particulate matter and/or dangerous chemicals produced by burning it be inhaled into the lungs?"

Cotton can't be set on fire? Wut.

I see a problem developing with the Rayon.... everyone is buying Rayon (CC) and Sallys is going to see the huge increase in sales and order more than normal to make up for the sudden surge ( in sales) and then.... Sallys will be overstocked with 2 times what they normally carry.... since a box will last us 500 years.... we wont be needing to purchase another box for quite a while :)

Haven't you figured it out yet? JeremyR is a major shareholder in Sally Beauty Supply. You didn't notice how coyly (sorry) he started this thread & eventually got it steered around to Graham Cellucotton? Now he's getting set to dump his shares & move on to alpaca farms. Oh, I see it all now…:D

My wife was telling me that she was getting a funky taste with cellucotton in her kayfun and wanted to go back to cotton. So, I obliged (happy wife = happy life), and wicked it up with some organic.

2 minutes later she was saying it tasted worse with cotton so I (again) re-wicked it, this time using the medical rayon balls.

Only after that did she said it tasted cleaner and better than it did with the other two. So I guess to each their own!

All I know is at this point, I have a lifetime supply of the rayon balls, the cellucotton, AND the tencel top that was discussed eons ago in the beginning of the thread lol.
