Regrets. We all have them. As your life becomes less important to you than your children's lives and your energy seems to dwindle and you seem less significant to yourself. What would you have loved to master before the old dog new tricks syndrome kicked in?

Personally I love the piano and music in general (not this money generating crap our children have to endure these days) but never got around to learn the piano properly. I was a drummer in a band back in the 80's and loved it but would have loved to be able to play the piano properly.

Your turn.

Avoid regrets...

Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like no-one's watching.
Sing like no-one's listening.
Live like there's no tomorrow.
Fear like a stone.
And finally, NEVER accept a joose device that gives a dry hit!!!

Putting.. everything happens as its supposed to aside for a moment... yes, I have regrets as far as not following my dreams and using the talent I was blessed with... but, my husband, kids and grandkids I let it all slide for and gave first priority to are also blessings and I most likely wouldn't have known any of them.

Yeah, no regrets for putting anything aside to spend time with my family. Can't imagine anything that could be better than holding my newborns in my arms as they slept.

I'm probably older than you and my children the same as yours look, if not younger. I still plan on learning the piano-later on.

Chin up! You're probably just in a parental rut.

    They wake up though.

    I have a battery case :)

Not in a rut. I am in court fighting against my children's Mum. She feels that my time with them is dependant on how much money I give her.

    I wish I could shoot better.

Cheers Iffy, now just send me a gun!. Lol.

Ummm, I have one gun and many firearms. My gun* is stayin on me if I have any say about it!!!

I could send ya an extra rifle (my Y2K preps have been a bonu$ recently)... but then we'd both be incarcerated. Hell, over here, we're starting to fear for our own firearm possession, aka 2nd Amendment!

What's worse is that I retired after 20 years in the military; and have been unofficially classified as a possible/probable 'terrorist' as a result!!!

*gun - "This is my rifle. This is my gun (grabbing crotch). The first one is for shooting and the second for fun." Don't think ya need my gun...

I'll state the obvious regret everyone has here, smoking and not being able to control myself and being able to quit. I regret i smoked for so many years that will result in me spending less time and money with my daughter.

I know its pointless to look back and kick myself for picking up the habit which made my wife cry countless times and just be grateful that ive quit now. but sometimes it makes me want to punch a hole in a wall knowing that i was a slave to something so deadly for so many years.
