Neil, why are you not learning to play the piano? And don't give me that old dogs and tricks stuff. If I can (and did) go to college in my mid-40s, you can learn to play.

(By the way: My 22 year old tutored me in those first math courses; I was phobic and had been since middle school. Would you believe I made A's? But, I'm still math phobic. lol)

So, go find a teacher. They don't all charge a fortune & it's never to late to learn.

I'll state the obvious regret everyone has here, smoking and not being able to control myself and being able to quit. I regret i smoked for so many years that will result in me spending less time and money with my daughter.

I know its pointless to look back and kick myself for picking up the habit which made my wife cry countless times and just be grateful that ive quit now. but sometimes it makes me want to punch a hole in a wall knowing that i was a slave to something so deadly for so many years.

Never looked at it that way. Kinda obvious now you pointed it out.

I so hear ya. When I remember hitting the deep, dark, hole of my personal bottom, I'm thankful because the only direction from there is up.
