Oh boy, there's a lot being posted about possible FDA regulation of ecigarettes.
It seems to me that some of the ideas for regulation come from the ecigarette community itself.
Among the entrants into the Regulation Lottery are along the lines of...
'Hi, we're an ecigarette industry organization. We represent producers that have volunayally ascribed to our standards. We think our standards ought to be made into regulations and apply to all producers.'
'Hi, we're an ecigarette industry organization. We think that ecigarettes ought to have a catagory under the FDA separate from tobacco products. We think the FDA should create a sub-department and appoint an ecig czar. Thank you for consideration. (please find my resume attached)'
