After reading a few posts in bombastinator's thread on rta's, I decided to give the sqonkable Galaxies a try.
But one should be fully awake before ordering vape gear. I already paid for two at GearBest before I thought to check for the diameter o_O
But it's all good ! They should fit nicely on my LP SL Grands

hmmm ... maybe I am an exception vaping at a mere 9 watts? But I suppose that comes from the fact that I like a tighter MTL draw.

Nope! IMO, you're not an exception at all. In fact, there are many of us who vape even lower than that. My own preference is using a 24mm Berserker with a 1.3ohm coil and vaping at just 6.9W/3.0V! I know that Kimberly (owner of OSDIY) has vaped for years with an Aerotank, at just 5W. She also still vapes 24mg eliquid (which would cause me nic overdose pretty quickly I'm sure).

First of all, I despise the term "Tootle Puffer", Sounds like something that inhabits the restroom at a Gay Bar… Maybe I am becoming as much a dinosaur as my gear.

I agree with you Brett. I always thought Tootle Puffing sounded like something that happened in the prison shower. ::shiver:: I'm a dinosaur too…

I agree with the prison analogy from @HauntedMyst

I see a pattern here. Never knew dinosaurs and homophobia were a thing. :pervy:

All shenanigans aside, I'm pretty proud of you old farts. You've been through crazy technological and societal changes and even had to endure the greatest generation. So we should grant you the occasional slightly sexist, slightly homophobic and slightly racist remark.

Don't forget xenophobic (whatever that means), islamaphobic (I think I know what that means), tree hugging, socialist utopian, deplorable, communist, messaganist (I thought that was the old woman who actually owned the message parlor), right wing, pinko liberal, etc., etc., etc.....

Of course, the ECF filters won't let us get into the really interesting ones ;)

While on this subject, we might as well pay respects and appologies to squonkers and bottom feeders. When I read the term "squonkers" I always get a mental image of a clown whose nose makes a horn noise when pressed. (The term squonkers was first invented on this forum.)

And we all know that "bottom feeders" is a derogatory term reserved for carp, catfish, and lower social-economic individuals.

    Renissance Toodle Puffer here.

Whenever walking around the construction site under an umbrella I toodle puff Renissance style with my pinky all poking out like I'm on a leisurely stroll in a park.

The burely workers don't know what to say. "Is that cat crazy as an outhouse rat or does he know something we should know?" What they do know is that character is none too concerned what others think.

They think I run the place.

By the way, when I hear the term bottom feeders I think of lawyers and politicians.

Doesn't change the fact that as soon as they leave the work force we're cutting social security as a form of austerity. Hate big governments? Cool, we'll make it disappear for y'all!

Of the choices listed I call it MTL. Can’t imagine ever saying tootle puffer out loud. I agree with the prison analogy from @HauntedMyst and Renaissance Vaper is far too pretentious.
MTL does describe it well. Low wattage automatically goes with MTL. You simple cannot use higher wattage without burning your wick when you're vaping MTL.

But, Renaissance? That brings to mind those fancy, engraved mechs that costs hundreds of dollars.

It's funny you said that because I have a Berserker that will arrive in the mail any day now ;) …. Maybe I will try for a 1.3 ohm build and see if I like it.
