They have to be screwing something somewhere,its basically the same thing as a Vivi Nova but its metal and Vivi is plastic (and $2-3 dearer)

I heard a rumor that another site will be selling them for a little less than $7 so maybe that wasn't a mistake but just a reasonable markup, time will tell.

Yeah, I just saw the colored ones... have to say that I thought the window would be colored... like nhaler tanks. The colored metal is cool... the shiny white and black ones will look cool on the v8. But colored windows with chrome would really thrill me. AND since I just saw the new lavatube bodies, the colored metals will definitely be snazzy with them when they come out. Blue on blue would look snazzy.

They are the same. I bought my Excalibur from VC and bought replacement internals from DV.
I've already replaced the innards of one that the wick burnt on.

For me, I like the idea of the colored tanks with clear windows, just because these old eyes can more easily see when filling if the plastic is colored, and I can also get a better idea of the color of my juice, like it it's getting darker from use etc.

BTW, cleaned mine again when I inadvertently unscrewed the base instead of unscrewing the tank... sigh... nother lap fulla juice. rofl I'm such the nimrod. Anyway, amazes me how simple these are to clean! Definitely wanna try Debadoo's rewicking method, but even without that , something in the nature of these wicks just rinses perfectly clean, and then pats dry, and doesn't carry flavor over. Nuts! BTW, does anyone know where I can buy additional wicking exactly like what is on the carto to begin with?
AND has anyone considered doing youtube vids on REBUILDING these? I know Lord Davon did a special on vape tv, but I missed it, and am dying to know. He offered to walk me thru it, kindly, but I hate to bother him since he's so busy with reviews. Even a list of the wire/wicking/supplies I'd need TO rebuild it would be awesome, since I've never done any rebuilding till now. Anything would be appreciated.

In addition,I`ve been suffering a bit of leakage with mine which I have traced to juice coming down the tube and out the bottom;had some very small o-rings here that would tightly slide over the top small tube that you see if you remove the drip tip and that cured it.

You know, just realized... Rochester doesn't have full kit, but they DO have the 'rocket' batteries very cheap in a variety of mah... between price on batt and that on tank, guessing you could make your own kit for about same price as cheapest kit price. Maybe? They have black tanks and batts, anyway. That way you could get one really high mah batt, and one not so high, just to use while other is charging. Plus, I'd think you'd wanna get your 'guts' at discountvapers anyway, since they have 2 ohms to choose from and are the cheapest I've seen. Just a thought, in case you're in a hurry. Dang it... I lied. Black is out of stock in all three ohms. And oddly enough, vendor doesn't seem to carry replacement guts for any of the e series. lol
I'm waiting to see what GV prices are going to be for the Alpha Testers. He showed pictures of different colors too.
Did the small o-rings come off of some other egig equip or did you just have them?
When mine starts gurgling or acting up I just do a quick clean and switch to another module and let that one dryout. It seems to work good again for at least a tank or two. It is very easy to suck the juice out with a syringe too.

Day two ... couldn't get away from a "burnt taste" .... no matter what. Didn't matter how much juice I had in it.
Day three ... now it's leaking from the bottom into my battery connection.
Is it possible that it ALREADY needs a replacement head ... or what am I doing wrong? I really, really like this tank ... but it has to last more than one day.
So, I'm wondering ... WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? Anyone else have this problem?
I really hope it's an "easy fix".
(By the way - I'm using 70pg/30vg mix, and vaping on both a regular eGo and a V V eGo to 4.2).

I would clean it and put another module in it if you have one or just pat that one dry and let it air dry for awhile and try it again. I haven't had any dry or burnt hits myself but you might need raise the silicone cap a little.

I didn't order an extra module (yes, I should have) ... but I'll try cleaning it. It only lasted one day "with a great vape", but I vaped it pretty much "non stop" the first day. Still ... hum.
Like I said - I really like the tank ... just hope it gets better.
