Get a bag of cotton balls. Or you can use cheesecloth (cooking) or gauze (bandages.) You can use any 100% cotton thread used for sewing. Or you can use silica....order it from a vape shop or from eBay. Or you can use SS Mesh if you can get it.....it's also on eBay. There are wicks to be had......not sure about the baby clothes. hahaha

Actually, Scott, I can't really tell the difference between bamboo and cotton. I'll send you some so you can try it out, okay? Also, do you have organic cotton balls? Wanna try that, too?

(P.S. This goes for ANYONE who is curious about cotton/bamboo/hemp wicks.....I'll send you some FREE SAMPLES. Just PM me.)

I just tried it with cotton and it's great! I can really taste the pure flavor. No need to send me any samples - what do you think is the best type of cotton though?

You can also get the round cotton "wafer" type pads. You can get at drugstore also where they sell make up stuff. Whats nice is that they are a consistent thickness. I just take a round wafer and cut into 1/8-1/4" strips, then just roll between fingers to form rope. No thin or thick spots, nice even rope. :)

Great tutorial! My Reo Grand and Reomizer should be coming to live with me tomorrow and this will be a huge help when I set it up. Especially the tip on the air hole position. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

My pleasure brother. Congrats on your new roommates too. That setup will have you vaping like a rock star. What color grand did you select?

Welcome :)

Black wrinkle hammer tone silver. I don't yet see the big picture about squonkin' but I'm gonna learn hands on and spend a lot of time in the Reo ECFs. Quick question, when you want to rotate juices, do you just rinse the wick in the Reomizer and put a new juice in?

Whew! this vaping thing is starting to become a hobby and my sons and I are having fun with it.

Thanks for the welcome.

Depends on how "compatible" juices are. If I absolutely want to not taste any of the old juice, I have to give my Reo a bath. Take the atomizer off, battery and bottle out, and wash it out thoroughly. And wash out the atomizer.
If the wick in my atomizer is cotton, I take it out, dry-burn the coil, and replace the wick. If the wick is some sort of silica or stainless steel mesh, I dry-burn it with the wick in it. That'll get rid of the previous flavor.

Edit: this sounds like a lot of trouble. I only do that when switching between juices that I *really* don't want to mix, i.e. from strawberry to tobacco/coffee. When switching between different citrus juices, I don't bother to do any of that, just fill the new juice and go.

Awesome... I saw that one up there. I went with its inverse brother for my 2nd Grand... love it, it's gorgeous.

Great advice, Commie. Thanks for the help!

I sort of like the variety of going from one juice to another. I have about 5-7 of the 6ml bottles but I sometimes don't even use a different bottle but "top-off" the one I'm using with a totally different flavor! HA!

That's sort of how I got into the d.i.y. juice thing. I was already using TFA "Double RY4" at various levels in my favorite juices.

Of course, it can help to put about 4 drops of the flavor you are changing to directly on your wick (if you use an RBA.)

p.s. Not pure "flavoring" drops, but a wholly mixed recipe (although I have put pure flavoring directly on my wicks before...)
