I am looking for recommendations for a rta with preferably a velocity styled deck for MTL tootle puffer (no subohm) with a tight airflow and flavor, flavor, flavor. Preferences: 22mm, 2 to 3ml capacity, easy to build and easy to wick, not prone to leaking or seepage, option for single or dual coils but not mandatory. Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

Kayfun 3 or 4, Orchid V2 or V4 (same, but different juice capacity), and Lemo or Lemo Drop come to mind. You'll get lots of suggestions. The best way to get more info is to watch PBusardo demonstrate them on YouTube.
You can also take a look at the thread about the Merlin, which has lots of good opinions in the thread here. Single or dual stacked coils on a Velocity, but with a nice airflow restrictor tube for real MTL. I believe it holds about 5 ml but is a 23 mm tank if that is a deal breaker for you. I'm getting mine on Sunday, so I'm going from reviews and posts around here.
I've been using my Avocado like this, if you close the airflow right down it's great in MTL, I run about 0.8 ohms in mine and it gives a warm, dense, tasty vapour. You've got the velocity deck, and really simple wicking.Barely any leaks as well, any I've had have been my fault.
We were discussing this on Facebook a while back... I recommend the Taifun GT 1.

The Merlin is nice but not really a MTL tank.
Neither is the Lemo2.
I hear the Kayfun V3 mini or the V5 or maybe the Hurricane are good choices. Both a bit pricey though.

For a novice, the Kayfun Lite Plus V2 is the best answer. Super easy to build on, easy to tear apart and put together - with great flavor.
It appears the Kayfun Lite Plus V2 or V3 are good RTAs. I know the first KL+ refilling required turning the tank upside down and removing a screw. Do you know if this is the same with V2 and V3?
Yes, it is a bottom filling device. I bought some 30ml unicorn bottles with thin tips and they make it easy to fill 'em up.
I have the KFL+ and the Mini 3 and my personal favorite is the Mini 3. Top fill, juice control and easy to build and wick. It's a tight draw too maybe just a hair more than the Nautilus mini wide open.

Watched - thanks DJ. I noticed Phil filled the Russian from the top covering the AF with his finger. I wonder if this can be done with the KFL+ as well?
It can, but not by much. The mini is a pretty tight draw. I compare it to being slightly more than the Nautilus mini. Flavor and vapor production is very good.
I will be going out of town in a few days. When I return I need to see if I can determine what the performance differences are between the various Kayfun models. A bit overwhelming with the various models and then different versions of each. Hard to determine which one is the best.
Watch a couple YouTube reviews of various ones that interest you. I find it helps to see it being used and talked about.
