safe distance from a black hole
View attachment 793789
Now it’s about the same as the True wide open. Better. Not enough, but definitely closer. I could use it in a pinch at least. I may go put it back on the drill press and try to open up the af hole on the ring. It feels a little strangled for air.
One last point to drill out and open up and it does make some small difference are the holes running horizontally on the post under the internal airflow hole you already drilled out. Unscrew the 510 pin and remove the post and you will see them.
I opened them up enough to keep it structurally sound but with increased airflow.
At best with the internal airflow holes opened up and 12mm worth of holes drilled out on the airflow ring the berserker is still just a gentle draw kind of rdl. imho.

@Janusz should get his any day, let's see what he says. :sneaky:

He better love it or else ;)

I started a thread on it. vaping with Vic's review convinced me that it's something I'll really like. Nearly busted a gut giggling while watching him. LOVE his sense of humour

I guess I need to figure out where it was that I found it at a good $$. I’ll have to check out his review!

Katya, think i just read that post . Airflow on Kayfun v5 perfect to me. Per above that's 3.2 mm. Lots of choices but my pick day in and out. Always wide-open airflow; sometimes full pull but usually moderated. And usually draw to throat with exhale thru nose. By contrast v4 (and others) were overly tight.

I prefer the K4--the 5 is too loose, albeit doable. My sweet spot is somewhere between 2-2.4 mm. But I'm flexible and keep an open mind. Most of the time. ;)

Woohoo! You are the official guinea pig :w00t:
Apparently I’m either a great guinea pig or a dreadful impulse buyer .

Intake is just so-so so far. I’m going to try another build tomorrow. I don’t think the flavor is as good as the Elevate. Don’t see much marked difference in af. To me, it’s about the same as the Elevate, SMM and Ammit 25. I do know it doesn’t hold a candle flavor wise to the Silverplay. I haven’t tried the most open insert for the Silverplay yet, but it is much more open, even at only 1/3 open (trying to dial in some flavor).

Yeah I'm on the fence with the intake unless it's even better than the elevate. But they look pretty similar attys to me.

Silverplay is next on my list to get, after the fresia. Thank goodness I love the colossal so much that I've tapered down (not stopped ) mod hunting ;)

Honestly, I’d go for the Elevate. Better flavor, easier to build

I think the intake is a more restricted airflow than the elevate.
The elevate has passed the no leak test for me so either the intake, horus or elevate is my stay in pocket at work rta. The intake or elevate generally though because of size. I don't use bubble glass tubes on my rta's.
I havnt formed enough of a relationship with the Solomon 2 to commit to it and put it through a leak test yet. Kinda like the hours, I like it and think it' a good vape but the looks of it put me off. Silly I know but that' that's the way of it.
